Certificate of Excellence
What is Certificate of Excellence?
TripAdvisor gives a Certificate of Excellence to accommodations, attractions and restaurants that consistently earn great reviews from travellers.
If you want to escape the busyness of Phoenix, this is your spot. A small nirvana in the desert with outstanding food, spa services and accommodations. I love this spot and go at least once a year. Sometimes, a lucky guest gets to accompany me....More
We just spent three nights at this resort, our second visit in a year. It is incredibly relaxing and quiet, the rooms are large and well appointed, the manicured grounds are lovely, planted with spring flowers. The rooms are casita-style, grouped in 3 or 4...More

Thank you for taking the time to post your experience at Tubac Golf Resort & Spa. We are thrilled to hear that you enjoyed your stay. We look forward to your next visit.
My son and I recently played the Tubac courses while vacationing in the Tuscon area. The staff was pleasant, efficient and very helpful. We were paired with a member and his brother-in-law for a great round of golf and fellowship. Outstanding experience all around.

The Tubac Golf Resort & Spas has been a favorite getaway for us for years. While we are not golfers, we do enjoy the beauty of the grounds, with the feeling of going back to a kinder and gentler era.

After a 60 mile bike ride to the hotel, I got all lathered up in the shower when the hot water gave out. After a cold rinse, I collapsed in a comfortable bed the a room twice the size of most other hotels. I would...More

No they do not have the "traditional" relaxing area that many spas have. They have a very nice little outdoor area that you can relax
at and have a drink while you relax.

MANAGEMENT RESPONSE:

Dear Tretower424,
Thank you for taking the time to share your recent experience at Hotel Bel-Air. I am thrilled to hear our garden oasis was the perfect end to your summer road trip. And how lovely that your LA-based son was able to join you at the hotel. Our staff will be extremely happy to hear your kind words regarding their exceptional service, and of course we love when we are able to make the puppies happy! I am concerned to learn of your disappointment with the grilled cheese sandwich and can assure you this certainly does not reflect the standards we have at Hotel Bel-Air. Please be assured I have followed up with Chef on this to ensure better quality control in the future.
I am pleased you and your family - dogs included - enjoyed your stay with us. We hope to see you all back again soon.
Warm Regards,
Denise Flanders
General Manager
In general, reponses to negative reviews I have read usually include an apology for the bad experience, some explanation of why it may have occurred, and steps that will be taken to ensure the bad situation is remedied followed by a wish that the client will try them again in future...Hope this helps you!
