Not that there are very many deals to be had in Tusayan- especially during season- but this is a great one if you have nerves of steel! The 7 Mile Lodge takes NO reservations and instead operates on the walk in overflow from the other hotels- first come, first served. The place is a bit dated but that's immaterial if...

We were in Tusayan for the night to visit the Grand Canyon in the morning. Everywhere we checked was pretty expensive. We rented a room here with 2 queen beds for around $80. the rooms were a bit older but it had everything we needed and the staff was super courteous. Would absolutely stay here again.

Its a basic room but its pretty nice. Each room has a 2 seater kitchen table, fridge, microwave and small coffee pot. The rooms are cheap, we paid $69+ tax for 2 queen beds. We were only there for one night before doing some backpacking so it was pretty much what we needed. If you plan to stay for several...

This place is one of the smaller hotels en route to the Grand Canyon, South Rim (which is 7 miles away). This is ideal for last minute travelers as the hotel doesn't accept advanced reservations. Since the prices vary with season, number of visitors, and day, the availability of a room, and the amount you pay varies. However, it is...

It was a very good stay, large room, king sized bed and fridge, and coffee maker. And easy access to the park. After having stayed in accommodation on the North rim, this was like heaven and at a reasonable room rate.

No free breakfast (we had our own cereal, fruit, milk etc. in an ice chest), no pool, exercise room etc, (we never use them anyway) but it was clean, quiet and comfortable. Debbie and Becky were excellent hosts and a lot of fun. The BIG deal is that it is a GREAT deal, costing about half or less than some...

We got a room here on Friday evening for $120. The price is not cheap, but everything else was booked already. The motel is good, host is super nice, it felt cozy and comfortable. We liked it overall. For $60 i'd have adored it;) lol P.S. A/c was old. It was working all night, with no result( been there for...

Stayed here one night, June 19, for a two day trip in Grand Canyon. For starters, they do not take reservations, but don't let that alarm you. We arrived just after 3PM, and there were plenty of rooms available. We received a king room. The room was clean, the A/C was cold, there was a fridge and microwave, and the...

After eleven days of backpacking in Grand Canyon we felt we deserved a well earned sleep in a real bed and a nice hot shower so we drove to Tusayan and booked in to the 7 Mile Lodge. We had phoned there before embarking on our 11 day hike to make reservations for when we completed our hike but were...

Compared to the other hotels this is a good place to stay, although $80 incl. tax is still a bit high considering the state of the rooms. Old, and a small bathroom. But the rooms were clean. They dont take reservations, so arrive early in peak season.
