With a basic rate of over $200 and crowded with tour bus groups this was not one of our better stays. The parking area has no bus parking, so the 4 tour groups had their buses take up a vast majority of the nearby parking spaces and then block the entrance to load our car the following morning. The hotel...

My wife and I stayed for two nights and we had a great time. The room was clean and conferrable. The breakfast kept us fueled for a long day in the Canyon and the Pool was refreshing after the long day. The hot tub was southing to our sore muscles. The staff was helpful and knew a lot about the...

Walls are thin as hell. I heard everything from the neighbor room. Had to knock on the neighbor room door to tell the woman to stop yelling (or talking very loud) in her room... In addition to that, we heard all the doors slamming..this hotel is a nightmare! I do not recommend this hotel. So overpriced! Go elsewhere...

Must admit I was somewhat nervous about staying anywhere at the Grand Canyon after reading so many reviews good & bad. After leaving a 5* hotel in Vegas & having to pay $100 more a night to stay in Tuyasan this hotel was a pleasant surprise clean, comfortable room had a nice small balcony complmentary breakfast a bonus. The desk...

I strongly recommend if you are headed for the Grand Canyon and plan to stay near the South rim stay at the Holiday Inn express Grand Canyon. The staff was top notch and the room was beautiful. The location was another plus with restaurants and the National Geographic visitors center just down the street. We enjoyed our stay and would...

queen beds seemed awfully small. room was ok, complentary breakfast was good. Clean and neat. Somewhat overpriced. Tusayan----restaurants around there were so-so. Gas was $4.29 a gallon. Fill up before you get there or after you leave.

This is a renovated hotel. Not as new as the holiday inn express that are available these days but did a good job with renovations. Husband and I stayed in a suite on the third floor. May 20th to May 24th, 2013. It was a very nice room, clean, good breakfast, staff was nice.

We were considering finding lodging at one of the more distant cities (Williams, Flagstaff, etc.) in order to save a little money. We opted for Tusayan figuring that we would want a close hotel after a long day of hiking. This Holiday Inn met all of our expectations, the most important being that we received a clean modern room. All...

If you don't want to pay prices in the park Tusayan is the next stop. Holiday inn is well located. Guest rooms are basic but clean and good. Service is very good. Staff is friendly and helpful. Free breakfast is great in a town of Overpriced restaurants with poor food. Overall a good choice when going to the Grand Canyon.

I knew why I was paying over $200 a night to stay at a Holiday Inn, but it didn't mean I had to like it. We came from Vegas earlier in the day and had went straight to the Grand Canyon before checking in. When we got here it was 8:00pm or so and we were the only ones checking...
