    In the middle of the forest you will find this cute campground that will allow you to get the outdoors experience But... Besides a picnic table, a fire pit and a bbq stand there are no other amenities so take this in your considerations

    the campground itself was fine - simple shaded area, picnic table and fire pit but the toilets were not usable. the worse i've seen in any of the campgrounds we've stayed in. won't go back there just because of that.

    You do have to bring your own tent. Free parking is right next to your spot. No electricity or running water..

    The earlier in the day the better and if you can arrive on a weekday, that increases your odds. If the campground is full, the camp hosts can direct you to free dispersed camping on US Forest land. You can then come back the... More
