Perfect location with a paradise view without all the traffic and noise of Oia or Fera. This property is gorgeous. We were blown away with the beautifully designed suites - the detail is unbelievable. The staff will coordinate your transportation and excursions simplifying the process so you have more time to enjoy this paradise. We were unable to find a cab home from Oia after sunset and George went out of his way to secure a driver to pick us up and bring us back to the property. The sunset on this side of the island is breathtaking (better than Oia) - just walk up to the top of the stairs or a quick walk down the street to a lookout point. The food was delicious and the presentation was exceptional. Another highlight to this location is Faros Market, a local market a short walk away with locally grown organic products with free wine tastings. Santorini has 13 wineries - highly recommend hiring a driver for the day and visit as many as possible rather than taking a wine tour - Santo, Sigalas, and Estate Argyros are our top 3. Astarte Suites is well worth your investment!! Holmes & Hughes
