My best friend and I booked in for a five-day stay in late September 2016. The resort sits at the foot of a long-and-winding gravel road etched alongside a green and picturesque cliff face. Once there, you are welcomed into the main house taken to a spacious, clean and comfortable room that will either sit above the main house and...

This place is Amazing, I don't have a single negative thing to say. The rooms, staff and food were were wonderful. 5 star across the board without the cost, my girlfriend and I did the Shark dive which is a must do if you go. The staff knows your name and are the nicest people you will ever meet. I...

The staff were so friendly and the kids loved them. My husband chose this resort as it was a surfers resort. We were the only family with kids and would have been better if there were other kids to play with but that is no fault of the resort.

Everything about this resort is wonderful - particularly the staff who treat you like family (we hugged many of them when leaving) and play volleyball with you and provide detailed support in finding activities off-site (sport fishing, white water rafting, golf etc.). Our son got sick and the staff picked up medicine from the drug store and connected us with...

We stayed at Plantation resort for the week leading up to our visit to Waidroka. The whole family found the atmosphere better at Waidroka, it has a nice relaxed personal feel vs plantations cattle feed feel. The surf was great and we felt well looked after out there. The food was great and staff super helpful.

An excellent location with ocean views from your room. Great quality and and variety of surf breaks only 10 minute boat ride from resort. Options even when trade wind are blowing. Experienced surf guide with excellent local knowledge who will go the extra mile to ensure you get the most out of your surfing experience. Not a diver myself but...
