This is the oldest hotel in Arizona and it has kept much of its character. We had a loft room for family of four (2 adults + 2 teens) for one night so the floor space was good but the ceiling height of the loft was pretty low for both kids - neither could stand up straight - we also...

This is a return trip to Williams, Arizona, and our second time staying at the Grand Canyon Hotel. The oldest Hotel in Arizona, Built in 1891 and set on historic Route 66, it is the coolest place in town. Not because of A/C but knowing that you are sleeping in a room where actual Cowboys from the 19th century occupied....

Stopped of at this quirky hotel on our road and what a delight. Real American town of williams on the Route 66. Amy and Oscar are the perfect hosts and have done a fine job. No other place to stay when on williams.

I planned a high school graduation trip for my niece to the Grand Canyon. Of course we wanted to stay as close as we could to the Grand Canyon. In doing a search on the internet I ran across the Grand Canyon Hotel in Williams, Arizona. It's the oldest hotel in Arizona and I just knew we had to stay...

We stayed one night here whilst on Route 66. The hotel is one of the very few left around that has held on to its heritage. All rooms are different and the lovely hosts gave us the keys to the available rooms so we could pick the one we wanted. The rooms are not large and there are no mod...

Apparently this is the oldest hotel in Arizona and it certainly feels it! History seeps from the walls of this place and the creaky floorboards and Victorian décor add to the experience. We didn't have a TV in our room but wifi was fine and the bed was comfy. Really enjoyed the hotel and was certainly a change of usual...

This hotel is for those looking for history and charm. It's not the Ritz Carlton if that is more your taste. The history of the hotel is very interesting as it's the oldest hotel in Northern AZ. We spent a weekend family trip in Williams to take the Grand Canyon train ride. The hotel is charming. We had everything we...

Here you will not find the largest room nor the latest and greatest room gadgets, but you will find nice hosts, a small but comfortable bed and the fascinating atmosphere of a long lost Old America. We liked the sincere effort to preserve the place as it was once rather than refurbish it and make it look like any other...

Situated at the main street this hotel has the perfect location in Williams, with walking distance to restaurants and shops. The hotel was built in 1891 and contains a genuin old-fashion charm. Rooms are not luxury but very charming and genuin. The hotel provides social areas at the ground floor. The staff is very nice and have a personal attitude...

Staying here for 2 nights. The Rooms are fine but checking in was a mess. this is a Great hotel if you are taking the train to the grand canyon! I would stay here again for its location and as long it's a good deal like I got this time.
