I started staying at La Posada practically when they started remodeling the hotel and have watched it's rebirth. As you walk through it you can practically hear the voices of those who came before. I have lived and worked in practically every state in the US and this hotel remains still one of my fav's. The employees are attentative and...

HOTEL’S FAVOURITE REVIEW
Reviewed 9 February 2017 via mobile

We have been staying at the La Posada regularly since 2008. The hotel has been reconverted to Mary Colter's design with period accoutrements and furniture. The rooms are really comfortable and the staff is excellent. We are always welcomed back with warm greetings. The hotel was a Union Pacific hotel and the Amtrak station still operates. Trains pass regularly which...

We were doing Route 66 and stopped here because the guide book said it was a must see. It sure is. I wished we could have stayed here. It is a rather large hotel. Not that many rooms but lots of other areas to see. The grounds are really nice too. It was one of the Harvey Hotels from the...

We love unique and historic hotels. This former "Harvey House" hotel is nicely renovated. Stayed in Bob Hope room with balcony. Walked the beautiful grounds, explored the entire hotel (and train station ) and enjoyed a superb breakfast.

This is a really nice hotel, but basically in the middle of nowhere. If you're a train fan, and I get that, then you'll love the place. However, trains come and go at all times of the day and night, making sleep somewhat elusive. The rooms are cute and come with most necessities. Bathroom is small but usable. The grounds...

We took a road trip through AZ for an anniversary adventure and stayed the night in this historical gem. It doesn't get more authentic! We loved exploring every inch of the hotel and gardens. The Turquoise Room & Martini Bar are TOP notch.

Went to Winslow to "Stand on a Corner" and stayed at La Posada. The best place to stay in town. Former railroad hotel, renovated with a great restaurant. Lots of things to see on the grounds. Interesting art museum, gift shop and nice outside grounds make for an interesting stay. Definitely eat at the Turquoise Room, good service and good...

There are no considerations for handicapped travelers. The reception area is a long walk from the parking lot, and our room was a long way from reception. The room was very small and had only two straight chairs to sit in. The absolute worst was the bathroom, which was about eight inches higher than the floor in the room. When we...

I stayed here a few years ago. After living in Winslow for years and seeing the building empty and mostly unused it was quite surprising to see what the new owners have done. The hotel is restored to it's former glory and the restaurant is excellent with a surprisingly delicious wine selection. There's not much to do in Winslow but...

We loved this hotel. The self guided tour was fun and interesting and the gardens were beautiful. The hotel was decorated in unique artwork which was fun to look at. It was also easy to walk to the little downtown area and explore the fun shops. I would definitely stay here again.
