We live close, so we visit the ranch often. The ranch is family owned and operated and they clearly care go out of the way to tailor the experience to match the guest. The horse rides can be at a lazy walk, or may progress to a trot or lope for the more experienced or adventurous guests. Never met anyone...

The ranch was perfect for our honeymoon. Secluded, distant from civilization. The cabins were just right. Clean like if they were brand new. The service provided by the staff was very exclusive and personalized. There are various activities to undertake while at the ranch or you can just relax and do nothing but to enjoy the surroundings and the quietness...

Growing up I was brought up on a diet of western films, with Big John the star of the show. I travelled with my family in August with expectations high to live the dream I had as a young boy. Stagecoach lived up to everything and more than I could have imagined, JP, Trish, Tristen and all the gang were...

As a family travelling route 66, we stopped off at the ranch for 2 amazing nights (wish it was longer). JP, Trish and the rest of the family were a delight to meet. They ensured our stay from start to finish was the best. Met 2 lovely familys on our stay which was great for our 16 year old daughter...

We can't rate the ranch highly enough. We had 6 days at the beginning of August which we thought may have been a day or two too long, but no, we simply didn't want to leave at the end of our stay and will be coming back. We met a number of families during our stay, many of which were...

As part of an extended trip to Arizona and Nevada we decided to spend 6 nights at STGR. We did become slightly concerned on arrival when we learned that many people only 'pop in' for 2 or 3 nights en route to LA or, in the other direction, Vegas. Had we made a mistake, were we going to be bored?...

As an example, there is a $22 a day "resort fee". However, the "resort " doesn't offer in room telephones, televisions, Wi-Fi., continental breakfast or alcohol.Horse back and atv rides are additional cost . Meals are buffet style with breakfast @ $ 20 and dinner @ $30 per person. Given the 110 deg heat ... @ $171 a day for...

We are both perplexed and dismayed at our review. You called us the night before asking if you could stay at the ranch as you wanted to take your motorbike to Alamo Lake and the ranch was on your way. We tried to dissuade you from coming out here on your bike but you insisted. We indicated to you that...

Not enough good things to say about this place. Visited as a couple with another couple back in March and can't believe it's taken us this long to write a review. Very first thing, JP and Trish were able to change around our rooms for a perfect fit, without us even asking. Food was solid and Trish makes amazing dessert....
