Home-cooking obviously frequented by the locals.Old building with funky but clean bathrooms. Bustling at noon today. Nice friendly staff. Plate lunches came out quickly and were cheap. Pretty tasty too. Not the best ever had but certainly not the worst either. Quick stop for lunch enroute home to LR after 3-wk. RV trip. Places across the street roomy enough for parking big rig.

Friendly family owned motel. It's very convenient and close by to a good diner and a park in the back. I was there to see some friends for a weekend recently and I didn't want to burden them for a place to stay - so I stayed with this good motel. We went over to the gulf course for while and out to Mom's lake for some fishing. I caught 2 fish and my friends caught a few as well.

My husband and I stayed here for several weeks due to his job. The room was very large and it was right next door to a restaurant. The water was not hot enough and they would not turn it up. Mainly working men stayed here.

The place is not special or nice but work for the purpose. We stayed for the 4th of July and our reunion family. That was three days and two nights. The mosquitos are terrible but everywhere all around the city is .:) Even knowing how is the place they could make a little upgrade on the bathrooms .

These people are very kind that run the place. It is a older motel, but doable. They will work with you on price. I think we rented it for about $50 a night plus tax. There is a great park for the kiddos to play on just behind this motel. And a nice diner restaurant right next door. Restaurant is popular with the locals. Convenient for sure.

When I stayed at the Park View Motel, the room smelled bad, the bathroom was tiny and the shower was duck taped together, the toilet was not put in properly, there were dead mosquitos everywhere on the walls, the wall had scratches and holes, the bolt lock on the door didn’t even work, the window to the outside was cracked, and there was a huge bug on the wall that got in from the outside. The hotel was so old and run down that there were places where bugs could come into the room to get warm. They also charged 55 bucks to stay in the room

When was an adequate size older motel desk clerk did not speak much English lobby had strong odor of curry Plenty of restaurants in the area wal-mart across the street Chamber of Commerce was right beside the motel

Very thankful they take customers in at any time considering it was almost 1 am when we came through. they got us in a room right away and it was surprisingly very nice and roomy! No complaints on this place!

The Outside needs some work done but the rooms where fair. 27-32 inch wall mounted flat screen with cable. Wifi worked great as I use nextflix/hulu. I have stayed here many of times for business and will continue doing so. The only thing that bothered me was in room 7 when taking a shower the water went from hot to cold on and off. The restaurant next door offers very good breakfast and plate lunches.

We loved our stay here. Very accommodating - The owner does not speak real good English, but are very kind and want to please. We asked for a non-smoking room and it was nicer than a smoking one. We got a EXCELLENT RATE! Can't complain about good rates and a comfortable bed and a quiet area. We stayed in room # 6. This would be a good stop for a church group or truckers to stay. A nice diner type restaurant next door with great food. It's not the Ritz, but it does not cost like the Ritz either. Clean, comfortable beds, nice hot shower, tv with HBO, quite and cheap. Can't beat that! Will be back and would recommend this place to anyone.
