We didn't stay at this hotel but stumbled into it by walking around our crappy dirty hotel. Decided to have dinner here as restaurant and the property looked very clean and well kept. Napali Thali was recommended by our server as apparently any item off the menu would of taken up to an hour to make. I guess they make...

This place is wonderful! Even though we only saw the Himalayas for about half an hour due to dense cloud cover, we really enjoyed our three night stay at the Fort Resort. The service is amazing. All staff members were so friendly and helpful. The gardens are absolutely beautiful and a perfect place to sit and read (and enjoy a...

This hotel is beautiful, with amazing buildings, stunning gardens and large rooms. The gardens in particular really make it unique. However when we first arrived it looked like it had closed down due to rebuilding work after the earthquake (and a lack of attention to the entrances and approach road). We almost turned around, but thought we would explore anyway...

For anyone who wants to see the glory of the Himalayas, this is the perfect place to so it. It's a small resort way up in the mountains. They will wake you up in the morning to let you know when the sun is about to rise - the best was to see the mighty Himalayas. Best to throw on...

Awesome location. The resort is so beautiful, calm and quite. Their Nepali Thali is so delicious. You can't use wifi from room. But you can avail free wifi from hotel lobby. If you want to take dinner from hotel, you have to take that by 9:00 PM.

The fort was the perfect spot to introduce newcomers to Nepal and the Kathmandu Valley, and to start a 4 day trip around the valley. Great food, comfortable rooms and great views to the Lang Tang Himals!

This hotel was unique as it was made up of cottages with simple rooms. The rooms tend to get cold at night, but we had plenty of blankets, comforters, and a space heater. I watched the sun set, and rise. Every time I walked in and out of the main area I would take a deep breath and view the...

We had a group of 30 people so I got to see a lot of different rooms. My room was tiny, which was nice at night when it got so cold. They do provide hot water bags at night for each person to help them warm their bed. That was very helpful. Also, they have extra blankets if you need...
