What an amazing family and place. The hospitality here is not catered to those who want a typical hotel/hostel like experience - it is rather of genuine and sincere care and love, that of which made me feel as though I was included into a family. You will not walk away from this place feeling tired and unsatisfied. You will...

Sarita and her family made my first solo travel a pleasant one by making me feel a part of their family. The room is clean and hot water and electricity is always available as they have a solar panel to get energy from even when the electricity is off (which is common in Nepal). Sitting together in the house's kitchen...

We enjoyed our stay in Sanu's guesthouse. The food is amazigly good and we loved the quiet and very clean bedroom as well as the meditationplace in a room on the rooftop and the good-equipped library. Sarita and her family are very helpful people, they recommend you transportation and places to visit.

every element of Sarita's home was wonderful from the moment we arrived to the moment we left. don't be put off by the ring road entrance, inside is a haven of beautiful food, beautiful people and the best chai in the continent. we've recommended Sanu's House to everyone and will definitely stay longer next time we're in Nepal.

We really enjoyed our stay with Sarita and her family. She made us feel really at home after our very long journey from Scotland. The room was clean but basic. Dinner is taken sitting on the floor in the family kitchen. Sarita is full of really useful advice about all the local attractions and will help you get there on...

I spent a night at Sanu's house a few days ago during my trip to Nepal and it has been the best choice ever! The room was basic, clean, cosy and furnished with a lovely nepali style bed. The family is adorable and takes great care of their guests. They also provide dinner and lunch, which are amazing: home made...

This guesthouse is in Patan but still fairly close to all sights and easy to reach by tuktuk or bus (even by foot). This means you don't have all the hassle which you get in Thamel - which is great! Sarita cooks great food every night and everyone then eats together in the kitchen (of course you may also eat...

We could not be more grateful for Sarita and her family's gracious hospitality during our time in Patan. My boyfriend had to have surgery on his foot while in Nepal and Sarita went out of her way to accomodate our needs. When I forgot my necklace, Sarita kept it safe until I came back for it. Finally when we were...
