Excellent service and food. Stayed for only a few days but in a trice staff remembered my foible at dinner [hot lemon and honey]. Maybe creaking a bit around the edges but didn't affect my stay. Lovely garden.

I visited Kathmandu for business to meet with the national telecom companies. Hotel Himalaya was recommended and ended up being a solid choice. Within 20 minutes of the airport as well as all the meeting locations. The venue is dated but comfortable. Quirky room styles with welled working area and showers. The Wi-Fi was not as reliable as I need...

Hotel Himalaya is a bit like a well worn sweater, a bit tatty, but still pretty comfortable. The rooms are comfortable, my mattress was actually pretty good. The bathtub was peeling though, and some of the towels were less than ideal. The restaurant is actually pretty good, and it does have a nice fitness center. Service is friendly, and relatively...

Comfortable, great food and great views , what more can you ask. All the staff were genuinely helpful and informative. Lots to see and do close by. An ideal base for the Kathmandu valley. The hotel is a notable local venue, and was used for a wedding party while we were there. This was an added entertainment and added to...

Hotel Himalaya is a western style hotel near the Bagmani River, and a short, 15 min walk from the center of Patan, and the Durbar Square there. The grounds are scenic with nice sunrise views in the morning and visibility to some of the surrounding mountain ranges on a clear day. The grounds feature a temple structure and is a...

While there were several parties in the garden during our stay, the noised did not reach my room in the 3rd floor. Room amenities - A/C, cable TV, hot shower with strong water pressure, bathroom amenities, hair dryer, complimentary coffee/tea,...

Luggage did not make it. Should be picked up from airport in morning by HH. Much gratitude. Hotel is lovely. Room is clean and comfortable. Safe available...

I stayed in Nepal for two weeks and stay in Hotel Himalaya for 6 days. The rest of time I spent in the rural area. I really have to say these six days really made my trip easier. After the long and tiring trip in rural area, being able to have hot shower, modern room, and nice AC is really...
