For 60 Q you got a shared room at the hostel which is super close to the boat dock.Breakfast up the lane at Fe (select menu) is included. Really friendly, WiFi and nice location. Can be noisy from room mates or barking dogs or roosters that start crowing at 4am. Ear plugs a must.

Stayed here because it seemed like a good place and nothing else was available. No dorms were available when I arrived, so I took a private room w/ shared bath. One bed had a good firm mattress, the other felt like a hammock with springs. Just enough water to take a shower at night. However absolutely no water in the...

We saw this place online and thought it sounded great 150Q for a private room with private bathroom and hot shower?! Sure! I wrote several emails to the owner, including making sure about the price, and only got half answers. When we showed up to check in we were told that the private is 200Q, the explanation was that they...

The prices were pretty good considering they include a good breakfast at the restaurant down the road. You're given a couple of options and tea or coffee is included. The rooms are basic but clean with lovely big windows and big wooden doors. Beds comfortable enough, could probably do with a chair at the little desk but that's all that...

Our room was ok for one night but not more. We had very big insects in our room but ok... that's nature. Our beds were very hard. The bathrooms are very little. The staff seemed a little bit overstrained.

Overall it is a nice chilled hostel in a good location. Close to the central restaurants and to the nature reserve for swimming. The current volunteers (Steven and Chelsea) are very friendly and welcoming. Ive given it 4 because it was good for the price and what we needed, and we returned for a second stay. The rooms are basic...

Basic accommodation for those on a budget. We stayed in a private room with a bathroom. It was pretty cheap. The bed was uncomfortable and the toilet leaked. Breakfast is included but don't get too excited. A choice of scrambled eggs, fried eggs and pancakes. None of which were particularly appetising.

Hostel san marcos is a cheap place to stay, about 50Q pppn. The beds aren't the greatest in the private rooms, and the bar stops serving at 9pm, so don't go here for a bender. Staff are friendly, especially the owner Paul, who also runs two restraunts in the town. One specialises in tapas and one in currys. Also, you...

Good prices (low season): - 60q dorm - 100q private double shared bathroom - 120q private bathroom. All prices is breakfast included (which is good). But low quality: - windows above the bed have no curtains so you'll be awake by the light at 5:30am. (See picture) - low quality bed and linen - bathrooms always flooded without pegs to...

I must say I was so surprised to read some of the negative reviews of this place. I stayed here for 2 weeks and had a great time. The rooms are very clean with big glass windows. Francisco is a great hostel manager, always happy to help and fun to be around. There is a good little lounge space which...
