I had a horrible experience with the manager, and my experience was very difficult. If she is there, i would recommend staying far from there! She was not helpful and even lied - very cold and poor customer service.

Charming hotel featuring yoga, massage, sauna and a vegetarian restaurant. There are 2 or 3 workshops every day of the week. Our room slept 4 with a private bath. Dorms are available with shared baths for those traveling alone. La Paz is set in a lush jungle setting just a short walk from the main Camino or the path to the ferry. We only ate breakfast at the restaurant but it was wonderful. Service is leisurely as everything is made from scratch. Coffee takes 10 minutes to arrive, so relax, you are in paradise.

I really appreciated the efforts of the staff to help me with a tricky check in arriving late. Felt very welcome and the location of the hotel is perfect with easy access (2 min stroll to the main laneway of beautiful San Marcos), great food at the sweet cafe, relaxed and private from the outside world - and really nice vibes. Definitely recommend!

This jungle oasis feels like it’s far away from the village. Many cute dining spots under the leafy greens or dine under the softly dimmed lights on their cozy couches. A few options I tried was their Pad Thai, filled with lots of veggies and tangy sauce. Also tried their sushi... pretty filling and very flavourful. You can also take yoga classes and a variety of workshops. The staff are very friendly and accommodating, I highly recommend this place.

This review is for the restaurant only. Located in a beautiful, lush, tropical garden and with colourful decorations, this cafe is a real gem of a find in San Marcos. You really feel you are getting away from it all. The food was delicious and tasted like something your grandma would cook, which is a great compliment. I asked for a smoothie off the menu, and they were able to locate a mango to blend for me. Refreshingly, sugar is not automatically added to the drinks. I had the curry and it was very tasty. Go there and enjoy!
