It was on of the best budget options in town and nice suprise too. Very simple but quiet, clean rooms with veranda facing green garden. Fully equipted kitchen is big advantage. Only one shared bathroom but somehow I didn't need to wait for it at all. Internet works well.

So we had not booked beforehand and where arriving late which meant that a all the places we tried first was already booked. The place is rather expensive at 200Q compared to what else you can get of higher quality and more cozy surroundings. Which made us only stay here for 1 night before getting a room at Circle!

Casa horus was a cheap place to stay. But that was before. When we arrived it was 200Q the room with shared bathroom. We successfully negotiated the room at 150Q. The place is very basic (only 2 beds with nothing else). To correct that has been said in other comments you will not feel as your family. People are very nice and helpful but you will see them only few minutes. This place was nice but when prices were cheap. With updated prices you should go to other places in town at the same price but with nice room internet and place to swim...

I had a lovely stay there, I stayed for 2nights in a double room with shared bathroom (75Q/night). The place was very clean and the mattress comfortable! It's not even a 2 minute walk from the main touristy street. Rudy and his children are super lovely! I'd definitely recommend this place!

In small village near Lake Atitlan, this is one of the only hotels that is run by local, very kind family. The rooms were extremely clean and cheap, there are rooms only with shared bathroom. You can use a kitchen in the garden, it is really nice to buy your food on the lokal market then prepare it there. It is not very busy, since there are only four rooms. Highly recommended.
