The surroundings and the old manor house are truly beautiful. The so called congress hotel building, on the other hand, seen its best days. Overpriced, since the rooms and public areas in the congress building are more of a basic motel standard than that of...More

Lovely stay at the manor suite in May. Spa in the evening with 4 different saunas and cryo treatment at -120c created a nice experience. Even the useless wifi and sluggish restaurant staff could not spoil this treat.

Hi, We are coming with a cruise to St. Petersburg, and are going to take a tour for the 2 days. WE have an option to visit the Faberge museum, or take a boat ride on the river/ canals. Can anybody help us to decide- which one is better to give up ? Most of the tour operators don't have the 2 attractions on their itinerary. Another question- what sort of weather we have to expect in August?
Many tx EILAT

Hi, I suppose, we can both attractions for two days. The Faberge museum is locate on the embankment river Fontanka and take a boat ride on the river/ canals after excursion will be optimal and very comfortable. There are many points departures boats here. Well, reserve tickets in a museum booking-office and after that you will how much free time you have before and after excursion. Than you can chose time for travel on the canals. The weather can be sunny or runny, but not cold, I suppouse. I can speak, that our friends from Arad likes St.Pet. in summer. WELCOME!
