We initially were going to go to a different place for horseback riding, until we read the reviews for it. Decided on HVR and I'm so glad we did!!! They were so friendly. Horses were very tame and seem to be spoiled a bit. If you go here, make sure the lead guides grandson is there, Gabe. He was the...

We are so glad you were able to discover Hidden Valley Trail Rides while you were in Eureka Springs. Miss Sandy makes riding the trails so much fun, and when Gabe is around, he is a big help to her. I am certain they enjoyed you also! Thank you for giving our horses a nice shout out, too. They work...

What is better than waking up in the morning with birds chirping, the wind rustling the leaves on a huge oak tree and the smell of good coffee perking. We experienced this when we stayed at the Hidden Valley Guest Ranch. The service was excellent and most of all who could pass the chance of soaking in our huge Jacuzzi...

Thank you for this very kind review! Your words so eloquently describe what we offer here which is very helpful to others who may want to know more about Hidden Valley. I can tell it from the management perspective, but it takes a guest to actually describe what is so wonderful about us. Telling family and friends about Hidden Valley...

We visited this ranch for a horseback riding tour. It was a lot of fun and the horses were great. It was $100 for my husband and I on an hour and a half ride. We went with another couple we didn't know and two guides. There's not a lot to see, but it's fun to be on a horse...

We recently took a trip through Missouri and went over into Arkansas, Eureka Springs. We selected Hidden Valley Guest Ranch to go take a trail ride through the Ozarks. The staff were very personable and helpful. They were more than willing to spend time talking about their horses and farm. The horses were in good condition and well groomed. They...

Thank you for this review, and you are correct! Many less knowledgeable guests have no idea about hoof care, and what well conditioned horses look like! Obviously you have been around the horse business enough to know what it takes to accomplish this. Everyone who works here contributes talent and dedicated hard work to keep our string in great shape...

Hidden Valley Trail Rides is a hidden gem. Definitely worth finding. Sandy was a great trail guide. She gave us some local history but also let us enjoy the natural scenery in a very peaceful setting. James, back at the ranch, kept an eye on our dog while we rode. We chose the two hour challenge ride which involved a...

What a nice review! Between our horses and our guides we provide a very positive horse back riding experience for our guests. Next time you are in the area, please consider staying in one of our lovely and secluded cabins. Those Jacuzzis feel wonderful after the Wilderness Ride! We will pass along your kind remarks to Sandy and James.

Sandy and her horses at Hidden Valley provided an outstanding trail ride experience for myself and two nieces. We took the two hour ride that had plenty of scenery change and excitement to it. As an experienced rider, I felt this ride was easily the best "Trail Ride" I have been on. If you are a horse owner/rider, do not...

We are so pleased you found the Hidden Valley Trail Rides, and want to thank you for taking the time to write this generous and appreciative review on our horses and Sandy, our trail guide. Sandy is a happy and devoted worker, and has accomplishes half a day's work every day: that is 12 hours! We are very meticulous and...

Trail boss was friendly and they offer different rides for different skill levels. We opted for a 2-hour ride with a medium skill level. Ride was scenic and at times challenging with steep hills both ascending and descending. Staff was helpful when needed and horses were calm and collected. Great family-run business.

This review is a very nice description of how the rides are conducted here at Hidden Valley, and we are so grateful you took the time to share your experience with others on TripAdvisor. Stayed in brides bouquet. This probably is my favorite Cabin of all. The view from the front porch is beautiful. Thank you Tandy and James for making our stay outstanding. Thank you for writing this kind review! Bride's Bouquet truly has one of the prettiest views of the "hidden" valley far below and off in the distance. Riding in that same valley is like going back in time, and Sandy keeps everyone laughing and safe during the trail rides. If you got any pictures while you were here, post them...

We had a great time on the ride, it was just the 2 of us plus our guide. We liked how the trail wasn't just a 4 ft clearing through the woods, it had a few nice hills to climb and wasn't just a boring ride. Nice views. Only downfall we thought was it was kind of pricey. 90$ per...

This is about an hour long trail ride. It was $70 for the two of us plus a tip for the guide. You don't need any experience in riding. The horses just follow along. The terrain is varied, making it interesting. Everyone there was super nice and accommodating!

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
SECLUDED Log Cabin Resort in Eureka Springs, Arkansas, Hidden Valley Guest Ranch is family owned and operated. When we built the cabins, we built them the way WE would like them if WE were the guests. We wanted convenience, but we also wanted something hard to define: Quiet, privacy, beauty, and we did not want to be disturbed by anyone else during our stay. We also wanted to protect the natural woodland setting. We decided on something natural and undeveloped, so we spread our cabins far apart on the mountainside. You will not see anyone else, and they will not see you. Even the access road to the cabins is unpaved. (We maintain it regularly.) We specialize in honeymoons, romantic getaways, and Barn Weddings. We have Jacuzzis, porch swings, charcoal grills, and we provide excellent mattresses (Spring Air) assuring guest satisfaction. Every cabin includes a fully equipped kitchen, sunken living room, Jacuzzi, marble vanity with dual sinks, showers, and covered front deck with a porch swing and charcoal grill. Hidden Valley Guest Ranch is located five minutes west of Eureka Springs, right off Hwy 62. ... more   less
