We love Turpentine Creek. We have stayed many times and always enjoy it. They provide everything for a comfortable stay. You can conveniently go into Eureka Springs for restaurants and events. There was a motorcycle event going on and the bikers seemed to really enjoy their stay at TC as well.

Several thoughts here - first off, the idea of the place is awesome. As they suggest: "These rooms are a great choice for a relaxing getaway... you are able to hear the lions in the morning as well as the evening hours." Just what we are after. As we show up, we are even able to take a look at...

We are sorry that you did not enjoy your stay. The intern appreciation party only happens once a year and typically in a different location. There were last minute changes, and we apologize that we did not inform you sooner. Now that we know this is an issue, we will make sure that it does not happen again. Thank you...

We stayed in the Safari Lodge and spent the evening on front porch playing board games with the kids and listening to lions and tigers roaring from the nearby cages. Room was small but adequate for our one night there. Pleasant temperatures our night so we were able to keep windows open and heard animals occasionally throughout the night. What...

We are happy to hear that you enjoyed your stay at TCWR! The games provided in the rooms are a great addition to a fun-filled visit here. Next time you stay with us, I recommend booking the Siberian or Bengal suites. These are larger rooms that offer more space.

The Zulu Safari Lodges are charming and comfortable replicas of the tented camps where we've stayed while on photo safaris in Africa. Each of the five lodges is decorated tastefully with its own individual African motif, complete with original art depicting African wildlife. We love staying in these safari lodges and have returned many times over the last ten years....

This was our second time to stay in the Siberian Suite. Both times have been great. To sleep at this fantastic rescue for big cats is one of the most unique experiences you can have. There's something for everyone here. Lions and tigers aren't your thing? Spend some time with the grizzly bear Bam Bam. Or maybe Spyke the black...

Thank you for coming to stay with us at Turpentine Creek Wildlife Refuge! We are so happy to hear that you enjoyed your stay. We had a great time. The only bad thing was the tigers were not next to us because they were working on their habitat. Bad timing. We enjoyed hanging out and listening to all the noises coming from the animals. Highly recommend. The room and bathroom was larger than we expected. We will do it again.

We apologize for the construction on the habitat outside of the Siberian suite. It is currently being renovated to be larger for it's next resident- this is very exciting! Our animal care staff, interns and maintenance team work hard to make the habitats comfortable and safe for the animals in our care. Thank you for coming out to support the...

Our stay at the Safari Lodge was wonderfully unique. The lodge was well appointed and comfortable. The staff had thought of everything we might need and made our stay memorable and were so friendly and informative. Listening to the lions "carol" at night was our favorite. Definitely worth the trip!

Children 4-12, seniors 65 and over, and veterans - $10.00. Children 3 and under admitted free of charge. Our group rates are: Bus Drivers and Guides are always free. Your admission is good for all day, and includes a walking tour of our newly opened natural habitat areas as well as a self-guided tour of the cats in our main compound. The time you spend in the main compound can vary from 10 minutes to over an hour, depending upon how much time you spend in front of one cage or another. The walking tour of the habitat areas is about a 30 minute guided tour and they are scheduled every hour on the hour from 11:00 a.m. - 3 p.m. The self-guided portion is all walking, but there are benches throughout to rest. We do have a wheel chair to borrow if needed. The guided tour is also walking, unless special assistance is needed and we can accommodate people with a riding tour on our cart (which carries five maximum). For large groups we will be happy to put one of our staff on your bus to give you a guided tour of the large habitat areas upon special request. Most of our staff are Biologists or Zoologists that come from all over the world to learn how to work with the Big Cats. Our tree house bungalow rents for $150/night for two, $15.00 extra for each additional person 5 or older. It sleeps two on a "clicker sofa" downstairs, and it has two twin beds tucked under the eaves in the loft. Generally, it is comfortable for 2 adults and 2 children. Although small, it also has full kitchen facilities, a wrap-around deck and is quiet and secluded. The cats are located only a few yards away in some of the larger enclosures. Children under 5 years old are not allowed in Tree House due to TCWR's safety policy. Our two Bed & Big Cat suites can accommodate up to four people, with a queen size bed and fold-down clicker couch. Price is$150.00/night for two, $15.00 extra for each additional person 3 or older. Babies are welcome at no additional charge. Both rooms have cats right outside the window, and are open year-round. Each room has an exceptional personality, along with snugly spa robes, luxurious bedding and linens, coffees and coffee pots, continental breakfast, color TV / DVD player, refrigerators and microwaves and clock radios. For rainy days or after hours, the rooms also have their own collection of favorite games and books. Cast iron fireplaces and air conditioning keeps you comfortable during the changing seasons too. Each room is also furnished with African Drums for those who care to start a drumming! Along with the spacious hot tub, the units share a 40' Octagonal Deck, complete with a charming covered Gazebo and Fire Pit. Tables and chairs surround the area for comfortable relaxing or light dining. These units are intended for adults only due to TCWR's safety policy.
