i am sure there are a lot of nice places , hidden somewhere in distant areas all over Europe, but this place is really special. I mean you should just find a day to go there, it is absolutely adorable. Unbelievable views, fresh air , after living in Berlin, you are thinking, that the air can actually taste)) and it...

This hotel was absolutely beautiful. The scenery is all I could have asked for from the country side. It's fairly secluded and high up so the view is lovely. They also had gardens and animals on the property to go for a nice stroll. The rooms were very big and had a living room and a separate bathroom. Fantastic value...

This is a great getaway for a romantic weekend or just to relax. The director, Herbert Ullrich is a wonderful host who welcomes his guests at arrival and departure. The expert sommelier, Hüseyin Ünal is a walking encyclopedia on the house wines and schnapps. Of course, not to mention their 5 Star chefs; Ralf Stang and Achim Krutsch (Michelin Star)...

If I was looking for a typical example of an oasis of calm, it would certainly Schafhof Amorbach. After a tenty minutes drive through the dep forest from the romantic town Amorbach I already thought, we are lost in the middle of deep woods, but when I havealready despaired it opened front of us a romantic valley, dominated by the...

A quiet getwaway with peace and quiet away from the city noise. The Hotel has two restaurants and a small lobby bar. Even the "non-Gourmet" restaurant is excellent (the Gourmet was full during my visit) and the service great. The rooms (at least the one I stayed in) would, honestly speaking, need to be refurbished, but knowing how much such...

Quite simply excellent in every way. Very friendly staff, a stunning location and excellent facilities. I didn't eat there but I know the food is very good. The rooms are large and very comfortable with the most exquisite views of the Countryside. The hotel is well situated for long walks. Swimming in the natural outdoor pool / lake makes a...

Der Schafhof is one of the hidden jewels tucked away on a hill. It is a small hotel with a beautiful location. A former sheep ranch, it has still sheep grazing around the hotel. The rooms are very comfortable. The staff most attentive and friendly and the restaurant superb. The location is perfect and easy daily trips to the other...

Great venue for business or pleasure. Staff is friendly, food is tasty, the rooms are spacy.and the garden is lovely. Enjoyable place to be, If you are here focus on the nature instead of the wine tasting if you are having some free time,

Der Schafhof is an idyllic country inn, surrounded by beautiful grounds, historic outbuildings and calming vistas. The interiors are classic, traditional German with gleaming woods and comfortable decor (our room was off the mark in decoration only in the slightest: it was not magazine perfect but lovely just the same). We were sorry that we could only stay one night....

“This is a very old hotel which is over 568 years old. I would not recommend the top floor, roof area corner rooms due to the wooden beams and slanting walls. I bumped my head several times. One also hears every sound from the neighbouring rooms. The rooms are also too small for 2 guests. The bathrooms are in need of modernisation. The plastic shower curtains are a "no go" for such a hotel.”
