Eumelia takes sustainable farming, tourism & living simply to a next level. I am so impressed by the beauty of the place, the principles put in practice, the pure love of the soil and nature that shows in every detail, it all fits. Joanna's love for the place and guests makes you feel at home and part of the family....

A place to be ... once you found it. Situated roughly between Sparta Gythio and Monemvassia in the South of Peloponnesos, you will find yourself in middle of nature. Untouched, no lights from civilization disturbing at night time to watch the starry sky, cicadas singing their songs ... On demand you can have a wonderful vegetarian dinner. We had the...

Me and my family have been visiting Greece for more than ten years and Eumelia is, by far, the best place we have ever found. This is a lovely and peaceful place, away from busyness and city noise, very natural and Eco-friendly. The houses are very clean, stylish and modern, yet very cozy. Yoanna, Nicos and Veronica will welcome you...

This is a strange place indeed. At first sight everything looks ok, the place is located in a fantastic area, accommodation is good, clean and the staff is nice and friendly. A very warm thanks to Joanna who was definitely the brightest point. But if you really want to find out how much "organic" this place is you begin to...

Your review as expressed is really further from the truth as you can see from all the positive reviews from other guests. In the farm all the cleanning things are organic and ecologogical as well as the paper and toiletries, the food, everything from the salt, coffee, sugar, pepper, butter, milk, flour, chocolate, even baking powder and tens of our...

I spent a few days at Eumelia in the spring and it was one of the best city escapes imaginable. I spent my days living off the land farming, learning how to make soap and taking Greek cooking classes. Nights were spent reading on the patio or stargazing, followed by a fabulous home cooked meal in the main lodge. Frangiskos...

In all honesty we were somewhat worried before we arrived. We wanted to try something new but didn't know what to expect from an organic agrotourism farm. Our worries were completely needless. Things started off well given that to arrive at they farm you have to drive through gorgeous farmland, trees as far as can be seen on either side...

Eumelia is a very special place. Not only is the area itself charismatic. The owners have really poured their heart and soul in making the best out it, respecting every single living entity whose home this has been for time immemorial. The idea that these olive trees have been on that same spot for thousands of years taking care of...

We spent a weekend in Eumelia and it felt like going away for a week! We enjoyed early morning yoga, a cooking and a wine-tasking session as well as a very inspiring tour of the farm, showcasing impressive ecological practices. Every meal was a delight of organic Mediterranean tastes, carefully prepared and graciously served by the friendly staff of Eumelia....

We spent 3 nights at Eumelia farm and thoroughly enjoyed it. We were able to tour the farm and learn about olives, wine grapes, geothermal systems, herbs - you name it. The houses we stayed in were very comfortable- good beds, well-equipped kitchens, great showers, etc., and they also had very good internet access (and televisions). Even though we were...

A stay at Eumelia is blissful and incredibly grounding. It can be easy to forget our profound attachment to nature, and the philosophy of Eumelia makes something so basic once again accessible. Never will you see a sky more black or stars brighter. And when is the last time you heard a rooster crow? The breezes are scented with herbs...
