We stayed as a group of 11 on a bird-watching holiday. We all stayed in the apartments for the accommodation and eat in the dining room. The apartments were perfect. Nice and spacious and had everything we needed. The underfloor heating came in handy as we laid our clothes on the tiled floor and they dry by the morning! The...

Location: just 5 min off the route 1, with a Bonus supermarket and N1 gas station at the corner when you turn into Hveragerdi. There is a good pool Laugaskard close to the guest house, but we did not visit it due to late arrival. The apartment: very good use of space, so you get a living room, kitchen with...

We had a great stay at Frumskogar Guesthouse. The apartment is large and the bed is very comfortable. The hot pot was just right behind our apartment. We enjoyed a warm bath while it was snowing outside. The breakfast was delicious with self made bred and many choices. Overall, the best stay in Iceland so far. Definitely recommend staying here.

This charming little guesthouse was a wonderful stop on our tour of the southern coast of Iceland. We stayed in the hostel portion of the guesthouse that had two shared bathrooms, one with a shower, that were super clean. The room was also very tidy and cute, they even left us slippers to wear around the house! But the best...

Set in the heart of Geothermal Iceland, this family-run guest house was absolutely fantastic. I travelled with a group of 9 other bird watchers on a dedicated bird watching and Borealis trip. We all had apartments that are to the rear of the property and not attached to the main building. They are similar to a bedsit., cooking and living...

This place was awesome. My friends and I stayed here for just one night, but now wish we had stayed longer. This quaint little guesthouse was awesome! Our place had three very comfortable single beds and a pull out couch. It had a great little kitchenette and a private bathroom. Everything was very clean and the owners were very hospitable....

We stayed here for 2 nights in end oct. The area is about a 40 min drive from Reykjavik. Small town but quite self sufficient with a few restaurants, supermarket, tourist information center, some gift shops and shops selling wine and also petrol station. We used it as a base to explore the golden circle attractions and it was convenient...

Probably my favourite of the accommodation we had in Iceland. The rooms are very spacious and the (individual) kitchens well supplied. I loved having the BBC available on TV as well! It was clean, staff personable and pleasant. My only gripe would be that we couldn't control the heating but it was minor compared to the very good quality of...

Adequate guesthouse. Great location for driving the golden circle. Room big enough and clean. Has a shared bathroom for the rooms upstairs (5 I think?) which wasn't an issue for me since it was real quiet at the time, didn't have to wait for it. Standard breakfast which was OK.
