that fit in the landscape well. The room was clean, bed comfy and the shower hot. The staff were very friendly and actually asked if we wanted a wake up call if the the Northern Lights appeared. Lots of selections for breakfast, all good.

The place was great with friendly staff when we first arrived at 10:00 pm. She helped us settle in, gave us a converter and answered all our questions. Negatives: 1. The room was small :( !!! really small 2. The morning staff was not that friendly. We were leaving to the ice glacier and asked if we could have a...

Wifi worked well but only allowed connecting one device. The parking was easy. The staff was okay. The room was not ready when we tried to check in after 4 pm - you would expect it to be since check-in started at 2 pm. The hotel had poor soundproofing, though luckily it was quiet in general. The room was quite...

Stayed here due to location on our trip around the Ring road. Room was adequate and clean. Bonus was the Loccitane amenities. Service was friendly. Slept well, quiet with good beds. However, wifi was very slow and near non-functional. Overall, an average stay.

Enjoyed my stay with family for 2 nights while checking out the southeastern shores of Iceland. The manager Sveinn was very nice and accommodated our needs. Great service! Breakfast buffet was good and the bar lots of fun for groups and stays open late. I would stay here again.

Clean, great breakfast buffet, excellent service. Pretty convenient location. For the price, definitely a good choice. All of our activities were at least 1 hour drive away, but accommodations closer to them were extremely expensive. Definitely would recommend!

I stayed here for one night in March 2017. It's a one horse town and this is really a pit stop hotel. We had a superior room but there was nothing superior about it. Although the room was clean it looked like it needed modernising, We had a view of the car park. Breakfast was ok - buffet style.

Stayed here for two nights, well placed for a day trip to Jorkusalon and the icebergs. Friendly greeting on check in, room on the first floor was better equipped than Budir ( e.g a tea tray !) and larger than the Alda, and most importantly you could open a window for fresh air ! very quiet , plenty of parking...

We stayed for one night and the hotel provided everything we needed, while the beds were comfortable too. Wifi is very quick and room is clean. Just a bit pricy of course, but that's Iceland. We had dinner in the restaurant which was tasty, but the dessert was not worth the money.

Great location but overall a little pricey. Hotel had average accommodations, but we were just looking for somewhere to crash for the night. Had dinner at the hotel which was great. For convenience, we ended up doing the breakfast buffet as well so we could just get on the road asap, but we didn't bother to ask how much it...
