We stayed here for a few nights and it was a great location for seeing some of the sights along the Golden Circle. We found the rooms to be simple and clean. The beds were very comfortable. The best part was the heated bathroom floors! The only odd part, the hotel did not stock hair conditioner in the bathrooms. The... More

We picked selfoss as we wanted to see the south coast of iceland from east to west. Vik is about 1.5hrs and blue Lagoon and the air port is about the same. Hotel restaurant is very good. Breakfast was also good, it had a wide selection. The hotel overlooks the river. I believe all rooms face the river. Its simple,... More

Great location in Selfoss. Close to the river with nice views from the rooms. Lovely service and helpful reception. Good choice for breakfast. Perfect spot for northern lights from Selfoss and close to the ferry to Westmann islands.

Great location for all the major tourist attractions. Catered for my gluten free diet. The Spa was excellent and the town itself is literally right on the doorstep, so central if you wanted to eat outwith the hotel. Loved the Northern Lights wake up service. Would definitely stay here again.

Stayed for 2 nights as part of a package holiday. Excellent accommodation. Rooms large, well presented and comfortable. Staff very friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was buffet style, with cereals, bacon, eggs etc. as well as Scandinavian breakfast items. Good choice of fresh fruit also available. Hotel also boasts the excellent Riverside Restaurant (highly recommended ) and the Riverside Spa. Did... More

Front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. Our room was squeaky clean. Bathroom floors seemed to be heated, which is a great perk for winter stays. Not much is open on a Sunday in Selfoss. The weather was terrible so we didn't drive out to see some sights as planned. Therefore, we took advantage of the Riverside Spa. The... More

I stayed at this hotel for one night in Iceland with a friend while we visited the countryside. The staff was incredibly helpful and nice. They offer a wake up call for when the Norhtern Lights are visible. The gentleman at the front desk took us outside to show us where to look once we got downstairs. That went above... More

I enjoyed this hotel, it's breakfasts and our dinner there as well. Nice hotel, near many things including a Bobby Fisher museum which I wish I had time to see. Bobby Fisher is also buried near by. We enjoyed the South coast from this hotel and the major sites in the Golden Circle.

We stayed at four different Icelandic hotels (including the Hilton Reykjavik Nordica), and this was certainly the best. It was surprisingly modern, located on a river, with a Thai restaurant and a grocery store near by. It’s a good location from which to explore the region. The room was clean and comfortable (at least on the newer 4th floor). The... More

Enjoyed our one night stay at this hotel. Rooms were large compared to other's that we experienced on our travels throughout Iceland. Staff was very warm and friendly and went out of their way to help locate my missing glove. Dining room was very large and Breakfast buffet did not disappoint. Lots of breakfast foods to choose from (meats, cheese,... More
