We spent two nights at this hotel as part of our tour of Iceland. Check-in was quick and straight-forward. We were delighted to be allocated a room with a river view (even numbered rooms.) The room was very spacious and comfortable, although starting to look tired. Tea and coffee making facilities were provided, as was an in-room safe and the...

We stayed just one night in late December. We had booked through an agency (Iceland Unlimited) so check in was very straight forward. Room was very spacious and they had an extra bed for our daughter. Breakfast buffet was varied, plentiful and tasty. we had dinner in the restaurant and although the service was very slow, the staff were very...

I stayed here for 2 nights 14 & 15 December on a guided tour through Snaeland. The hotel staff were welcoming, nothing seemed too much trouble. We ate in the restaurant & the food was excellent, the restaurant overlooks the river so wonderful views too. We made use of the spa with hot tub, steam, sauna & relaxation room, all very...

The small group that I was with had to change our plans because of a blizzard we encountered. It was snowing sideways, so we decided to go no further, and our tour operator managed to get us booked into this beautiful hotel. It was around 9:00 PM when we arrived, and the front desk got us squared away in short...

The hotel is a little dated but staff were very friendly. Rooms a decade or so behind the times in terms of styling. The bathrooms were maybe twenty years behind but everything worked. Had no problems while we were there and had a good meal in the restaurant. Breakfast was all you would require. Views out over the river and...

We stayed here for 2 nights, the staff were friendly and welcoming, although thinly spread due to the severe storm, but all seemed willing to work across areas and be helpful to those staying. The spa, although small, is a nice relaxing bonus. The massages are good. We ate in the restaurant on both days, once in the evening and...

Stayed here for one night after flying from Edinburgh to Keflavik- took about an hour and 15 mins to drive there. We got there just after 11 pm and given our room key. The man on reception told us how to get to our room and when and where breakfast would be served. He also told us that the bar...

Stayed here for 2 nights as part of a self drive trip, a pleasant surprise after a disturbed nights sleep in Reykjavik! Super comfortable beds, quiet room, lovely spacious bathroom and a tasty breakfast. There's a huge car park attached but be aware that it's used by everyone for surrounding restaurants and info centre. We struggled to find a space...

I stayed there in a standard room which was much above average for such rooms in Iceland. Also had an excellent view of the bridge and the river; the room had everything, including a nice bath. It was very clean, the only minus was the wi-fi was not good. The corridors were pleasant and there was a very nice glass...
