Enjoyed every second of our short break. Pleasant and friendly staff everywhere. Gorgeous room with sea view. Lovely pool. Enjoyed food both evening meal and breakfast. Will definitely be back. Delighted to see decent sized towels in the bathroom. Everything so nice and comfortable.

We had our sons christening at the Samphire restaurant last weekend. The food was excellent as always. We have never had a bad meal in the Samphire. There was a great selection and the service was excellent too. Everyone raved about the chocolate mousse and the scallops as well as the steak and the brussel sprouts. Joanne was very helpful... Had a lovely stay in this hotel, fabulously decorated in Lobby and Bar areas but was slightly disappointed with room decor but on saying that the View we had more than made up for it. It was stunning. Food in restaurant was delicious and a lovely atmosphere throughout.

Great location, with fantastic views & deserving of it's 4 stars. The rooms were very spacious & comfortable. The staff were friendly & welcoming. We had breakfast sent to our room & it was piping hot & plentiful. One of the best hotel breakfasts I've had in quite a while. The bar was modern with plenty of staff.

The rooms are fine and the new bar is fab, I wanted to eat in the Lighthouse bar as we had kids with us but I just couldn't bring myself to eat there, it was really grubby looking and I hate to think what was lurking in the carpet my shoes were stickin to. We went back out to the... More

Many people, me included would not have seen the hotel dining rooms as being on par with the restaurant experience. However, having visited the new Samphire restaurant in Garryvoe hotel I must admit I was very impressed with the entire experience. They have renovated the restaurant area , creating a social dining area. We went there for a Dinner Table... More

Nice hotel, friendly staff. Vegetarian meal one of the worst I have had. Basically just Aubergine tomatoes and lots of onion baked with a little cheese. Would have been fine as a side dish. Wifi in room often unavailable.

When you are leaving a hotel and are wishing you did not have to is a good sign that you enjoyed your stay. Well, that is how we felt after our stay in the Garryvoe Hotel. It is situated right on the coast so look for a room with a seaview. It has recently been renovated and they did a... More

Taking an old friend to dinner was a little disappointing. The surroundings however are good. Prices are that of a high class London restaurant - especially the bar drinks in this upper area. My friend had fish which was good. I had ordered duck/ medium with roast potatoes -roasted in duck fat and caps., The duck had obviously been cooked... More
