As I have not stayed in Killybegs I did not know if any place to stay however the Tara Hotel was just perfect, super interested , engaging receptionist & welcoming. Loretta was a joy to meet. I am looking forward to a return visit in The autumn.

Stayed in the Tara Hotel to visit Slieve League and Portnoo. Arrived to very pleasant staff and our room was a seafront with large communal balcony. Room was clean and big enough for the two of us. Overlooked the harbour which was nice. Beds comfortable and it was very quiet at night. Breakfast was served at table. Cooked breakfast was...

The hotel is comfortable and clean. The restaurant is probably your best bet in town as there is really nothing here. Parking can be difficult, there is a free lot next to the hotel on a first come first serve otherwise you...

I found the hotel to be very comfortable and warm. The staff were friendly and helpful. Perhaps there could have been a better selection of fruit and yogurts for breadfast. Although my stay was short I had a lovely time there.

Excellent location and the staff were very helpful and friendly. We were in the Tara suite which was lovely - very spacious but very warm! Great views over the port. There were excellent options at breakfast - including meat-free choices which was great to see. There was also continental stuff, but a lot of it had gone by 8.45 and...
