Excellent. the hotel room was spacious and good view. Clean room. Food was gorgoeus , friendley staff. My parnter thought is was excellent due to it being a birthday surprise, he loves visting killybegs and really enjoyed the food, especially the t-bone steak and the view of the harbour.

We stayed here for 2 nights with our tour group,, I think what makes this hotel is it's very friendly staff. IT is clean with very comfortable beds. We ate supper here once, and breakfast twice. the breakfast was very good, and enough to keep you going for most of the day.the town is small, and nice to walk around... More

Had a family dinner here last week (3 adults 2 children) Got a table by the window with a beautiful view of the harbour. Menu has something for everybody. We ordered 3 starters for the table and then we had Seabass, Fillet steak, Monkfish, Burger and Fajitas everything we ordered was perfect. Service was very friendly and the manager John... More

Stayed here one night but could have stayed more...lovely setting with a sea view. Everyone talks about"Killybegs and the smell of fish"...we never had that problem. There are bars, restaurants, chipshops, pizza and chinese places close also but we ate in the hotel. Food was lovely and service was second to none. Will definitely stay again.

family room was quite big, but: kid beds were done fast, so not very well done the air extraction of the kitchen comes through the room, and it is really annoying. Woke up at 6AM, when the kitchen turned on Reception apologized for the inconvenience, but fact is that anybody should avoid to have a room on 4th floor

Stayed at the Tara hotel for a last minute weekend break away. We had one of the suites and had a bit of a mixed time. The hotel itself is very clean and well kept. The bed wasn't the most comfortable, the mattress was very soft and the room was nowhere near warm enough. We asked for the heating to... More

The Tara is a well maintained hotel right on the harbour with expansive views over the Bay. It seems to have had a recent upgrade as the bathroom even had a heated mirror that didn't fog up and a really good shower. The staff are very pleasant and accommodating and the bar/restaurant is very convenient with good food. The B&B... More
