I have always loved the setting for the Bar and Restaurant. I ordered the seafood chowder which is one of my favourite things, so disappointed looked lovely but wastotally tasteless, there was fish in it but no taste of fish at all, very disappointed. Did mention this to the waitress who said she would tell the chef just hope she...

We visited here for lunch, beautiful setting and nice atmosphere. You need a table at the window to experience it at its best. Food was good and desserts even better. Staff were very friendly. Nice place to sit and relax with a cup of tea on a chilled afternoon.

Visited rossnowlagh for a weekend in June. Went to smugglers twice it was that good, beautiful location especially when the sun shines . Went for dinner on the Saturday night, given a table right at the window. The food was fantastic and the personalised service is a credit to the restaurant . Food was served within 15 minutes and the...

I went to smugglers on Wednesday 1st July& it was one of the best nights I have experienced. I went with a big group(15)& we were served quickly with smiley faces and the food was nice. The bar man (Sean Boyle) was a legand and I talked to him into the early hours. All round excellent!

Spectacular views, fabulous fresh food (I'd say amazing - top notch) however the serving staff seemed so miserable it was off putting. I witnessed customers being convivial with the waiting staff and not one of them smiled; either they are underpaid, underappreciated or they have poor management or temperamental chef(s) to deal it, either way I would go back but...

Off the beaten track, but well worth the detour, Smugglers has been on the go for a long time but this doesn't mean it's stale by any means. The menu is varied- perched above the Atlantic the seafood is as superb as you'd expect but their land menu doesn't disappoint at all. Ordered patê for starters and scampi and crab...

What a spectacular views, what a food, what a drink and great atmosphere! My eyes went sparkly from the first time I walked in into this pub, because I was greeted by a huge tank full of oysters! We visited the smugglers for evening dinner recently on a gorgous Sunday evening. We both ordered a burger and chips. This would not be a choice we would usually make but we both agreed there were 2 key words that sold us both! 1. focacia bread 2. mozzarella cheese We were so disappointed when we were served a basic ordinary...
