Recently stayed at this little gem of a hotel! Rooms are spacious, bed comfortable, very fast wifi are just some of the pluses of staying here !! All the staff are lovely from check in to check out ... We stayed the whole weekend and found we really didn't need to even leave! Top restaurant, fantastic bar and a breakfast...

The hotel was excellent value, rooms were clean, warm and very comfortable. Breakfast was made to order and tasted great. The staff are very helpful and nothing is any trouble. Lovely hotel, highly recommend it. 19 ladies agree..

We stayed here on a Saturday night as part of a birthday group, the hotel was very reasonable and we were able to check in early. We had a lovely carvery in the bar for lunch and ate in the restaurant for dinner as part of a birthday party. I couldn't fault the service in all areas of the hotel...

The staff are fantastic always greeting you with a smile and often by name. The hotel has the atmosphere of an old hotel but I don't think it is actually that old. I stayed here on business for two weeks in December and again for two weeks in February. The location is great as it is close to the city...
