What an absolute find. Mary is the most attentive and thoughtful host taking care of our every whim. Nothing was too much trouble. The house is pretty and well furnished, beds are very comfortable and we needed them after two long days in the saddle! Breakfasts were excellent too. Mary made us hot ports on arrival, offered to fill our...

A highlight of our Ireland horse riding/shopping vacation was our stay at Oak Lodge. Mary's personal warmth and genuine interest in our well being made us feel spoiled. She made sure we knew where we were going everyday and gave us recommendations for dinner, lunch, pub, you name it. We look forward to being able to go back and stay...

Spotlessly clean, warm, dry and comfortable. That's twice now that I've stayed there. I'll be back if I possibly can. Mary and PJ, who run the place, are very welcoming and friendly. The cooked breakfast is magnificent.

Thank you Mary for a lovely visit. We felt very welcome and totally spoiled. The weather was cold and we were exhausted from horse riding all afternoon. The B&B was warm and welcoming. Mary, the host, gave us something warm to drink and scones. Also shared with us information on places to eat and drink in Portumna, which we could...

A superb B & B; spotlessly clean and very quaint. Mary Lynch and PJ are quick to help or make suggestions for local sights and dining. The breakfast was excellent as was our room. I hope we will have the good fortune to return.

Mary at the Oak Lodge was like having a sweet mum away from home. Charming beautiful spot, and the very best service. Delicious breakfast made to order, clean spacious rooms. Mary helped us organize evening meals for our 5 night stay and transport to our next stop with grace and a smile. Absolutely wonderful!

Upon arriving at this b&b myself and my partner were met by Mary and PJ the proprietors. The house was spotless, the bed more comfortable than my own at home and nothing was an issue for our lovely hosts. The breakfast was five star and the location could not have been better. We were given lots of information about the...

We had an excellent stay at this very charming B&B and would definitely like to come back. Lovely host with great friendly service, where Mary and PJ takes excellent care of the guests. After a rainy day riding at Flowerhill, Mary helped with drying shops and clothes, nothing was too much trouble. Mary always had good advice on restaurants and...

We only stayed for one night at Oak Lodge (unfortunately). We were greeted by Mary and we were allocated a family room at the rear of the house. The room and en-suite were spotless and the decoration was of a high standard. After checking in we were treated to a welcome pot of tea and some warm scones, Mary couldn’t...
