I spent six days at the Yellow House using it as a base for a cycling holiday in the Boyne Valley area. I could not have made a better choice. I received an immediate warm welcome from Hilda with tea and scones. This continued throughout the week and I felt that I was part of Michael and Hilda's family. My...

We stayed with Hilda in August 2013 for our friend's wedding, this had to fit into our stay with family in Athlone. Hilda was very accommodating of our coming and going, including the time we returned with our 4 month daughter. The room was spacious and appointed with plenty of cupboard room and tea making facilities with biscuits. Hilda made...

After reading all of the glowing reviews we booked into this b and b for one night during our holiday touring Ireland. Hilda greeted us and then showed us to our room. After she had departed to make tea we quickly discovered an unpleasant odour in the room. In addition everything just looked worn out, tired and dingy. It just...

The Yellow House is wonderful. Hilda and Michael are superb hosts and very very kind to weary tourists! Renting a car in Naven turned out to be a fabulous idea. It is an easy bus ride from Dublin airport (30 min.) When you have had a good night's sleep and Hilda's delicious breakfast you are ready to face the quiet...

From the moment my Aunt and stepped in the door,Hilda made us welcome. The front lounge room had a lovely warm fire going and Hilda settled us in with a hot cuppa and some scones - marvellous. Hilda provided great information on options for dinner and we ended up just around the corner for a great pub meal. The next...

We stayed here with our three children, couldn't have asked for better weekend. As soon as we arrived we were made to feel at home, shown to our spacious room and were given ideas to make use of our time in Navan. Hilda and Michael were aware that our son had autism and they made sure he was at ease...

This is a splendid B&B with warm Irish hospitality and excellent food. It's also a central location for travelers who want to visit Tara, Newgrange and other prehistoric sites in the area. There is a hotel just next door to the Yellow House with a nice restaurant and bar, so you can go for a pint after you return from...

This beautiful B & B sets the standard of quality and friendliness that is the essence of " a hundred thousand welcomes ", that was once the hallmark of our traditional nationality. Upon our arrival, which was a day earlier than booked due to my oversight, we were met with laughter at my mistake and a warm friendly who made...

We only spent one night, but by the time we left it seemed we were leaving family. Easily found, and nice, large rooms with ensuite facilities. Hilda made us feel welcome and put us at ease from the first minute we arrived. Breakfast was awesome and the tomatoes came from her own garden. You'll have to ask for her recipe...

I don't usually write reviews unless I like the places I stayed in - I really liked this one and would recommend it to anyone staying in Navan. Hilda and Mick were really welcoming and friendly and helped me out with their local knowledge. They were so friendly that I stayed an extra week! The facilitites includes the usual TV,...
