My wife and myself stayed one night at Athlumney Manor after visiting the nearby neaolithic site of Newgrange. The property and surrounding garden are beautifully kept and clean. The room we stayed in was quite small but adequate, we were probably the last to arrive. The full breakfast was excellent, probably the best we were given in Ireland. the owners...

Me and my family come here every year and we cannot express how great this place is, the bedroom and bathroom and extremely clean, the breakfast is brilliant, lots of choice and variety but most of all Pat and Pauline are so welcoming, kind and their hospitality is so warm hearted and generous. I would recommend anybody to stay here,...

My friend and I stayed at the Athlumney Manor B&B for 5 nights in June 2016. The house and the garden are both beautiful, the pictures really don't do them enough justice. The rooms are clean and have everything you'd possibly need while staying at a B&B. My friend and I initially booked a room with a queen size bed...

Four of us stayed two nights and I must say we will be back. Top marks on all counts. Great location, lovely clean spacious rooms and a wonderful breakfast. But what made it stand out was the friendliness and hospitality of Pat and Pauline. Nothing too much trouble to them and Pat with his local knowledge and great wit kept...

Well established and well maintained accommodation. Host very helpful and it's obvious the owners have been in business for quite a while as everything is as it should be. Warm water, good showers, cosy rooms and little added gestures here and there to make you feel welcome. No downsides for me if your in this neck of the woods and...

Stayed two nights at The Athlumney guest house and can thoroughly recommend it. Great location, Lovely rooms with fantastic showers and a delicious and hearty breakfast. What elevated this guesthouse to brilliance was Pat. He is so helpful, knowledgeable and above all, hilarious. Thanks a million Pat and Pauline.

We stayed here for two nights (beginning and end of our trip in Ireland). I must say that we enjoyed every moment, from the evening to the morning, with an exquisite, rich breakfast. The place is lovely, Pat and Pauline greeted us with much kindness and suggested us activities and places in the area. Extremely recommended! Mike and Sara

Lovely comfortably sized room with a view of Athlumley Castle. Location is well positioned in walking distance of town and an easy drive to many sites such as Newgrange. 40 minutes from the Dublin Airport. Pat was helpful in every way. We truly enjoyed our stay.
