Ok - So I travel throughout Ireland for work and found many gems I never heard of before. Having lived in the Boston, Vermont and New Hampshire area of the US I often seek similar in Ireland. Without doubt this is one of the coziest spots in Ireland. Co Monaghan is beautiful and the Killyliss House is a beautiful place...

I stayed here with my brother last weekend. We were attending a funeral nearby. Pauline was warm and welcoming, as was her beautiful house. The bed was comfortable. The bedroom decorated to a very high standard. Wi-Fi signal was excellent. The traditional Irish breakfast was delicious. If ever in the area again, I will definitely stay there. I cannot recommend...

My family of ten stayed with Pauline in her beautiful Country House on NYE. Pauline was so welcoming and treated us like friends, not paying guests. She could not have done any more for us! The house was beautifully decorated and bedrooms spacious. She turned down our beds and even put on an electric blanket for our return in my...

An absolutely lovley home in a georgeous country setting that is prsentately beautifully. A lovely hostess who was kind, knowledgeable and went above and beyond to make our stay a great one. All this was topped off with a delish and filling breakfast in the morning.

There is not really much to say other than excellent in all respects. Stopped for 2 nights and was lucky with the weather, hot and sunny. Very comfortable double room for single use at excellent rate. Breakfast beautifully presented and of highest quality. Pauline most helpful and charming host. Situated in beautiful area and a good base for many places...

Pauline has got a gorgeous establishment and takes care of her guests as if they were her own family. I'm sad we only got to stay one evening instead of 2 or 3 because it was just so comfortable, warm and inviting. In old Ireland there was this idea of those who owned establishments like inns, hotels, pubs, hostels being...

It's a pity this website can only award 5 stars and this place already achieves that. Compared to other places I've stayed this deserves much more. Lovely comfortable quiet rooms. Great breakfast and lovely host. Pauline knows everything, what to do, where to eat, where to go, she is a font of information. Thanks for everything, see you again.

My mom, fiancé and I stayed here on our way to Dublin from Belfast. Pauline was the perfect host with a perfect pot of welcome tea complete with some sweet treats. The rooms are spacious and the WiFi is fast. As you step into your room, you feel as if you are staying over at a friend...except with great service!...
