This hotel was great. It was fantastic value for money and the staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome. The only downside was our room (108) windows were level with the pavement outside which meant they could not be left opened. Apart from that the bed was the comfiest I have ever slept in, and the...

Stayed here last weekend as part of a group. The receptionist was very rude and blunt and was more focused on getting our money up front that he didn't even direct us to our room until we asked where to go?!?, what time was breakfast was available from and what time check out was! Our room was ground floor and...

The An Post Ras is an 8 day International Cycle race. On 22 May 2017 the Ras finished near Mullingar and we used Newbury Hotel to accommodate race officials and teams. The staff in the hotel couldn’t do enough for us. The dinner was super, served up without delay. We had a range of international teams staying at the hotel...

Stayed here with a group in May of this year. The hotel is very centrally located but it is very, very basic and old fashioned, very musty and the rooms are very worn-a real 1980s hotel in need of refurbishment, definitely does not reflect images on their website. Our twin room was clean but was very dark and dismal, and...

This is an old building. The carpark is too small. There is not enough parking and I ended up scratching my bumper trying to move around. There is parking in the adjacent train station but no notification to say this is the case. The rooms where clean with old furniture which was quirky. I was sharing a twin room. I am...

Great function held here recently. Buffet food was delicious, together with lovely, healthy salads. The staff were both helpful and extremely courteous. They looked after each of us equally. Thank you. Can't wait to get back there.

We stopped in to get a taxi and the man behind the desk was very helpful ,so when we were looking for something to eat this was our first choice. They had no problem seating us on Mothers Day. At first they sat us in the bar but then moved us to a bigger table in the back. The service...

I stayed at the Newbury Hotel for one night and enjoyed the hotel. It is very close to the train station (approx. 1min by foot). The staff was friendly, my room was clean. I had dinner at the Chinese Restaurant belonging to the hotel. The food was delicious and I was giving a starter drink and some fruits for free....

Very central hotel on the main street , next to the train station. Even though its the main street , the bedrooms appear to be to the back of the hotel . Main disadvantage is very limited parking at the hotel. Bedroom was clean staff are friendly , breakfast on a Sat morning a bit slow but worth the wait...
