Stayed last weekend in the Greville Arms Hotel and overall had a pleasant stay. This hotel is quite old and needs a good revamp but the highlight of this hotel is the staff. We arrived early to check in but this was no problem to the very pleasant receptionist as our room was ready. The room was old fashioned but...

On Ash Wednesday While visiting the Mullingar town to see the Cathedral we decided to have lunch in the "Greville Arms"on the Main Street. We had a wonderful lunch of cod and chips which was served with a side salad. The fish was cooked in a very light Guinness batter and the chips were hand cut. The restaurant was. comfortable,the...

Rooms are just ok and could really do with a good overhaul. Food is fine and staff are courteous. Location is excellent for all services in the town which boasts plenty of eateries and bars. Great location

Dear Reviewer, Thank for choosing to stay with us here at the Greville Arms Hotel. Whilst I am delighted to hear you enjoyed your food experience and have passed your positive feedback to relevant departments,it is most concerning to hear your review in terms of the housekeeping here in the hotel. I have sat with the housekeeping manager and gone...

Location perfect. Arrived at 2 on Saturday. Receptionist under pressure so not too friendly. Departure on Sunday much more pleasant. Parking in hotel car park very tight and lucky to get a space. Hotel is old style and quirky which we all liked and there is a buzz all the time too. Rooms fine but noise from other guests dreadful....

The location is great, many shops and eating places, bars on the main road. I loved the inside of the hotel it is so quirky, the room I had, had the wow factor for me. Love the bar it was so lively, there are quiet areas at the hotel, will hopefully go back. There is no lift, and I have...

Had a beautiful Lunch today in The Greville Arms Hotel in Mullingar. My mum had the roast lamb and I opted for the cajun melt special. Both were beautiful. The woman serving the food at the carvery was so friendly. Unfortunately I didn't catch her name. There is plenty of seating situated beside the carvery itself. 5 star rating for...
