Stayed Friday 21st August, the room was dusty and the headboard had clearly not been cleaned. The bed had springs sticking up and only a blanket in the duvet cover, the bathroom was dirty and we had to ask for bath mat to be changed. Staff didn't show any concern when we complained.

Old world charm staff excellent and breakfast was good. We had eaten in the restaurant one evening and was very good. Rooms are fine on the small side and some of the rooms are a bit dated. A lot of stairs to climb to each level of rooms so was a lot of effort to and from rooms.

Mould on pillows, stains on curtains and bed covers. Completely unsatisfied and when we made a complaint to staff, they sent someone to change the sheets, which didn't solve the problem as the mould was on both the pillow and the pillow sheet. Central location but if looking for a clean hotel room I suggest finding somewhere else!

Good location, good food. Lovely staff. Rooms in urgent need of updating. Shower cold or no water. No information in room. Room looked out onto sheds Communal areas dark this maybe a way of hiding dirt.

Stayed at this hotel on a hen night on the August bank holiday week-end. Arrived at the Hotel and it was really busy. Lady on reception was really lovely. The rooms though a little dated are clean and beds very comfortable. We went to the bar and there was great music on. we then went for dinner to the restaurant... More

My husband and I stayed in this hotel for one night only. The hotel is right in the centre of Mullingar and is very homely and cosy. There is a wide variety of food available from the Carvery for breakfast, lunch and dinner. I didn't try the restaurant as I was very satisfied with the Czrvery options. Our bed was... More

Just home after a fantastic night for my sisters hen party. Dinner was so good. Apart from a little delay of starters, dinner, dessert, tea and coffee, everyone was full and ready to party. And a good breakfast with all the trimmings cured us all this morning. Receptionists, Karen and Ann marie, could not have done enough for us. Nothing... More

Stayed in this great hotel from Friday to Sunday ( 24th-26th July) we found the hotel to be in a great location in the town centre making it very accessible during our stay. The rooms were very clean and tidy, I stayed with a group of friends for my hen weekend and from the moment my sister rang them she... More

Booked single room which was dark and dirty skirting boards, carpet not hoovered, money and scraps on floor from previous client(s), dreadful odour from bathroom and water tank kept filling overhead and noise levels in adjacent room so unacceptable I had to ring reception. Breakfast lounge had food strewn on floor at 8am..no fruit available and when I was leaving... More
