The Greville Restaurant offers what is probably the best steak in Mullingar as well as numerous other dishes for all tastes. If you have room the Guinness in the Greville Bar is right up there with the best in town and the service in the entire premises has the feel of a proper family run hotel with friendly faces. Enjoy!

I had already booked here when I read the reviews. Must be honest I found them harsh. My room (106) was a tad tired but it was comfortable, with plenty of hot water. The breakfast was a buffet and there was plenty of choice and everything was of good quality. I stayed during the week and the room at €55...

Had a meal in the restaurant with family before a few drinks in the bar.. The restaurant food is bland, tasteless and makes hospital food seem appetising. The bar is dimly lit, probably to hide the dirt of the place. If you do happen to go here, avoid the toilets.. Possibly the dirtiest I have ever seen in Ireland. When...

Booked here at last minute as was in Mullingar and decided to spend the night. Even with a last minute booking this hotel is way overpriced for what it is. Absolutely lovely staff especially the blond haired receptionist - every hotel could do with having someone like this lady. Bar staff are also very friendly and the pub and smoking...

Lovely staff , the hotel itself was in definate need of repair . Olive green bathroom suit , beds lumpy and lamps were dangerous as you turn in the bed it would turn on and off. The breakfast wasn't good as the meat was very dried out . Over all wouldn't suggest staying here at all sorry .

Stayed Friday 21st August, the room was dusty and the headboard had clearly not been cleaned. The bed had springs sticking up and only a blanket in the duvet cover, the bathroom was dirty and we had to ask for bath mat to be changed. Staff didn't show any concern when we complained.

Old world charm staff excellent and breakfast was good. We had eaten in the restaurant one evening and was very good. Rooms are fine on the small side and some of the rooms are a bit dated. A lot of stairs to climb to each level of rooms so was a lot of effort to and from rooms.
