I spent just one night with my girlfriend attending a wedding at Macreddin Village. The hotel is quaint & old worldly but lovely & comfortable. The room I stayed in over looked the town, it was quiet & relaxing & the bathroom was modern with a powerful shower. The owner was courteous & relaxed with us making us feel very...

Old world chic at its best, beautiful rooms and pretty furnishings. Staff were naturally friendly, will definitely return. Breakfast was delicious and service was very good. No designated parking but found on street parking very easily.

We had a thoroughly enjoyable stay at the Meath Arms. The staff were really nice. Couldn't have been more helpful. We had dinner there, which was lovely. The breakfast was excellent, as good as any 5 star hotel. The rooms were clean and the all round experience was very pleasant. It was excellent value for money. We will be back.

We booked the Meath Arms Country Inn as we were attending a wedding at Ballybeg House. Convenient location as only 10-12 minutes drive from wedding venue. Well serviced in evening time by local taxi. Hotel was clean, quaint and wonderfully warm. We had the Meath Suite, which is located on the top floor. Very spacious room with modern bathroom. Bedding...

Having spent a wonderful week touring around Ireland on a budget I decided to splash out on my last day and booked a room at the Meath Arms Country Inn. This inn is everything you would expect from a country inn. The host is lovely, and very accommodating, he cannot do enough for you. Great service. The town is very picturesque. We stayed for 3 nights. The rooms are clean and the beds very comfortable. Most rooms do not have a TV. Lovely breakfast, great variety.

What a quaint place. It looks nothing from the outside but inside it's full of beautiful furniture and family photos and history. Amazing, having been in one family for 4 generations. It felt like I was visiting my grandmother who's home I dearly loved. The breakfast room was truely beautiful. Gerry organised a taxi for me in the morning to...
