It's been taken off hotel booking sites with good reason. The cockroaches in the pool was he last straw. It looks lovely from the outside but it's a dump. The receptionist walked out after a couple of days and we did the same. It's supposed to be apartments. Ours had two bedrooms with a fridge in one of them...

Lier on the anounce : no private balcony, no private litchen( to share), no restaurant ( and its isolated), no common barbecue tu use, no phonik isolation.. Access very difficult, we crash the car each time, proximity of a phone antenna, very expensive for what they give.. Really

Having been somewhat misled by the address "Nazare" (it is nowhere near it) my husband and I finally found Quinta do Galego - it is just outside the village of Famalicão, on the village road. Set back from the road and in a slightly elevated position, peeping through a lush green planted up garden with some high pine trees there...

“The wooden chalet was romantic, but very basic. The fridge had not been switched on and so was useless for 1 night's stay. It is very quiet, lovely space to sit outside the chalet. We did not see the other rooms inside, but they surround the pool area. The whole place seems very quiet.”
