Good location for a road trip, if you aim to visit caves - they are literally 3 minutes away. They have a good spacious parking with a tent and are very close to the highway exit. Which makes them easy to find but results in increased noise at night. One of the good things is breakfast, great choice of jamon...

We had our Wedding ceremony in the village then stayed in the the hotel for 2 nights before moving on to our next destination. In the village of Maro just outside Nerja, perfect for us with the caves just a short walk from the hotel. The staff were very helpful and our room was upgraded to a suite. A bottle...

One Night Stay. Pro's: Tidy and Clean. Room ok but small. Comfy bed with two pillows (Godsend) Free parking. Con's: Small Pool. Tired poolside furniture. Tired fixtures and fittings. Restaurant looked nice but was full of flies everywhere. Some staff friendly, some not very friendly at all. WiFi was terrible and barely worked, didn't bother in the end. Air conditioner...

Booked this as a one night after a week in a villa. it was a complete let down. really basic hotel, certainly not worth the £100 we paid. the pool was tiny and not like the pictures the breakfast was covered in flies - no covers over it. on a plus, the staff were really nice short walk to the...

We stopped for lunch here after visiting the cueva de nerja and were pleasantly surprised. Despite the exterior appearing a little tired, you can't beat the menu of the day: EUR 9 for 3 courses! The menu had great choice, was simple and made a nice change from tapas. The service was friendly and prompt and our waitress spoke English...

The hotel was not clean. I was with some friends and we rent 3 rooms, none of them was very clean and the hairdryer in all of them didn't work. Breakfast was very poor and definitely the food was not fresh. Even if the hotel is near the famous cave of Nerja I would not recommend it.

Just returned from a week in Hotel Al Andalus, Maro, Nerja. NOT RECOMMENDED. Firstly, the hotel was a 4 k walk into the Centre of Nerja. The Beach, which was advertised as being 1k away - well OK as the crow flies it was about that, Unfortunately we don't have wings so it took us about 40 mins to hike...

We needed an hotel on the east side of Nerja for just one night and the Hotel Al Andalusia fitted the bill perfectly. It is just off the motorway, near a junction, near the entrance to the Nerja Caves, close by the seaside village of Maro and a few minutes by car into Nerja. It would be an excellent place...

On the last day of our trip we tried the excellent paella and various salads which were served by the friendliest staff ever, speaking several languages fluently. We were so sorry to leave, so don't miss it!

We've enjoyed staying there several times. Convenient location off the highway, no noise, very clean comfortable rooms, lovely buffet breakfast + lunch/dinners available, staff was most friendly, nice pool, easy walk to The Caves at Nerja for shows in Summer and two minute drivre into Nerja for choosing among 300 restaurants! Always enjoyed our stay at Al-Andaluse Hotel
