The staff...

I had previously stayed in this hotel and had an excellent experience, however I have now learned that the experience is very much dependent on the room you are allocated – this is particularly relevant during a winter sun break. The room that we were allocated was on the north facing side of the hotel – looking over the storm...

My husband Mark and I decided to spend NYE away this year and as we booked late, there weren't many hotels that we could book. We settled for Riu Arecas, and were not disappointed! On arriving in our room after checking in, we found that although the beds were larger than singles, they were definitely made up for single occupation....

We have just spent Christmas and New Year at this hotel and were not sure what we would think as we have always been self catering when we have been away before. I am amazed by some of the scathing comments made, the rooms were very comfortable and spotless, the staff absolutely brilliant always smiling and nothing to much trouble....

stayed here in December. rooms clean but out-dated. Uncomfortable beds. awful bathrooms poor quality towels, sachets for shampoo and shower gels sometimes impossible to open. reception courteous but nothing exceptional. evening entertainment simply dreadful. resident band singing out-dated numbers and a few older people waltzing in front of them! Food: if this hotel offered a bed and breakfast tariff the...
