We went for dinner and we were in a bit of a rush but the staff were all really helpful. Tito in particular was brilliant. The food was good, reasonably priced and I was particularly impressed with the range of options for the kids menu. Good range of alcohol free drinks too.

I organised a group of 14 lads to visit Hungerford for the weekend and we chose The Bear Hotel as our base. From the moment I made contact with Caroline, Lead Receptionist, I knew I was in safe hands. She sorted our rooms with expertise, arranged our Saturday lunch, helped me fix taxis for the evening and made sure that we were looked after by the very attentive staff throughout our stay. The rooms were lovely and clean with great decor, all 14 lunches were brought to the table piping hot, all at the same time and the beer selection was very impressive. All of the group couldn't say enough good things about the hotel so it's absolutely a 5* review from us and a big and special thanks to Caroline.

We stayed for one night and the room was perfect. We had an evening meal and was looked after by Anna. She was a delight and could not do enough for us or the other guests around us. She is easy to talk to and constantly smiling! She made us feel very welcome and nothing was too much trouble.

The team at The Bear were very welcoming and friendly. Our room was huge and very clean, happily the heating was on as the temperature had dropped so we were lovely and warm. Being a bit fussy they found decaf tea for me with no issues. The breakfast was delicious and service was great event though they were very busy. Would definitely stay there again.
