We visited the Kings Arms for an evening meal my wife and I. I had the 12oz beefburger which was homemade and was the best tasting beefburger I've ever had. That's something as I'm a burger man. It came with all the trimmings and came out hot Would definitely recommend.

The Kings Arms was recommended by my daughter who lives in Kirkby. It is a smart establishment with attentive and friendly staff. We visited for Sunday Lunch having made a reservation. There was a choice of Roast Pork or Beef, with an additional fish or vegetarian course; plus there was some bar meal alternatives. We had a couple of starters;...

Evora's Lounge serves fantastic food with a new winter warmer menu offering two main meals and two drinks for under £20 on most days. The rooms are tasteful and very clean with great beds and fantastic service, I would say the Hotel is homely and the staff add a personal touch to your stay. If you want to be away...

Lovely rooms, whole place sensitively refurbished and a great atmosphere there. It was clean, warm and full of character, as a country inn should be. Staff attentive and friendly. Owners are experienced in hospitality - and it showed.

We arrived after a long drive to find the hotel had been closed down a few weeks earlier, leaving us stranded with no accommodation for the night. Booking.com (who we booked through) had not let us know nor had the Kings Arms even though we had booked a couple of months previously.

Lovely part of England. This hotel could have it all if accommodation was upgraded. Restaurant is superb. Our family of five had dinner in the evening. It was a pleasure to have good home cooked food. The staff was friendly and helpful.

Stayed here for the weekend (8th & 9th July) and received a warm welcome from the staff. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We met with friends here and had an evening meal, which all agreed was not only good quality but also very good value for money. The breakfast was also very good. Would recommend. We were also entertained during dinner...

Had a lovely meal here with my friend on Friday night. We've been a few times before and always get a warm and friendly welcome from the landlord and staff and the locals with good atmosphere and banter.
