Excellent evening meal - very fine dining with great attention to detail. Good selection of menu options. Well stocked bar. Lovely environment and beautiful views. Having coffee in the lounge is a nice end to the meal.

We stayed here 3 years ago and standards haven't slipped at all. We had to change rooms this time, not because the first room wasn't good enough it was because our neighbours were a little noisy through the walls. Also as the room was based near the pool and on the ground floor, we could here people moving around above...

This has long been a favourite lunchtime stop off when visiting the East coast as the food is generally very enjoyable Sadly it is not quite the relaxing atmosphere that it used to be as children are now allowed everywhere .It doesn't feel good following on from a family when you have crisps trodden into the carpet and lumps of...

Have been here several times always in the LOOKOUT where we find service to be very slow. We have had the seafood platter three times, and each time this platter has become smaller-not worth the £8.50 being charged. At the last visit, it looks as though they have jacked up their prices? Chips were nearly cold and had to be...

There's a place in the Ashdown Forest in Sussex called Duddleswell Tea Rooms. As the name suggests it specialises in cream teas and has done since 1937. They are magnificent cream teas with real leaf tea (a choice of English breakfast, Assam, Darjeeling and many others) large warm fresh plain or fruit scones, high quality jam, and lashings of clotted...

Just returned from a lovely family break at this hotel. It's location is superb, right on the quay in Blakeney, with great views and very centrally located to explore the beautiful North Norfolk coast. We are returning customers and love the place. Staff are friendly and very helpful and all requests were speedily met with a smile. Worthy of a...

We booked a table for 10 over the Easter period to celebrate my son's engagement as the family was together for a few days. The setting is lovely however the view and location did not make up for the unprecedented lack of service and general poor hospitality. We waited 25 minutes for someone to offer us even a pot of...

This is a large hotel on the salt marshes of north Norfolk. Great views of the marshes - there is a look out room for bird watching etc. The hotel was BOILING HOT! The rooms seemed tired and ours was very poorly laid out. The hotel had good services and a pool (which I didn't use). The whole thing just...

We stayed at the Blakeney over Easter weekend. The hotel is in a great location, overlooking the quay and a short walk from the rest of the village. The room that we had was comfortable and had all of the facilities expected in a hotel of this category. The service was friendly and if a level of a good quality...
