Sloley Hall is absolutely superb, and represents the quintessential English country home. We stayed here for 1 night for a wedding at nearby Oxnead Hall, and were astonished at how beautiful and spacious it was. Simon and Babs are truly wonderful hosts, and their knowledge of the local area is excellent. The rooms are very generous (as you'd expect from... More

Simon and Babs welcome you into their lovely home to share their warm and welcoming rooms. The bedrooms are large and comfortable, the beds huge and soft. And the breakfasts are the best you will get anywhere - no question. The comfortable lounge is a dream. It would be pointless looking elsewhere if you were thinking of staying in the... More

We had a lovely four days with Simon and Barbara who were really friendly and very kind. Our breakfasts were excellent and our room spacious with a very comfortable bed. Nothing was too much trouble in helping us to plan our days. Although we are not walkers there is a lot of countryside walking around to be enjoyed. Why not... More

We stayed here recently, but have stayed here before. It's a lovely place and the owners are very hospitable, helpful and kind. The rooms are tastefully decorated, the building is beautiful with many original paintings and furniture in place. Outside, it is very tranquil, in the day you can sometimes see barn owls and we saw tawny owl chicks in... More

We went to celebrate a significant family birthday. It is a terrific place, and offers a really warm welcome. The rooms are as large and elegant as the photos suggest. The breakfasts set us up for the day.

Lovely comfortable house in a charming garden surrounded by trees a fields. So quiet and restful, and with no other property in view. Simon and Barbara were excellent hosts and we really enjoyed our few days at Sloley Hall. Breakfasts in the rather grand dining room are not to be missed or rushed.

We have nice memories of a previous stay at Sloley Hall and had no hesitation in booking again. So pleased we did! Lovely peaceful setting, lovely house and very comforatble bedroom. Sloley Hall provides all we could wish for in a B&B. Most of all, Babs and Simon are such nice and welcoming people. Despite the unseasonably cool weather, Simon's... More

This was the second time that we had stayed as guests in Babs and Simon's wonderful home, and our second visit was even more wonderful and relaxing than the first! On the basis of our first stay (October 2015) we booked to spend our honeymoon weekend at Sloley Hall, and could not have asked for a more peaceful and relaxing... More

Wow is too simple a word to describe this experience. From arrival on a crisp evening with a perfect view of the stars to departure the next morning we felt part of some thing special. The property is a major part of this but the hosts are the icing on a particularly rich and inviting cake. We felt looked after... More

Highly recommended if you want spacious, comfortable and attractive accomodation with attentive and charming hosts. We much enjoyed the barrel vaulted roof room. Travel to Norwich by train was easy and there are good pubs in the vicinity.
