Stayed at this hotel for 4 nights, so lovely. Jane and Taz was most welcoming. Food excellent, compliments to the chef. Dog friendly which was a great help to us as we took our dog. Would definitely stay again.

This large detached Edwardian residence is a house of character with plenty of parking space. The rooms are traditionally decorated, in keeping with the external appearance. Our bedroom was spacious with comfortable beds and an en suite bathroom. The decor was not overly contemporary, but clean and quite acceptable. The proprietors were most hospitable, and keen to make the guest’s stay as enjoyable as possible. The evening meals were absolutely exceptional both in quality and quantity. In fact, two of the best meals we’ve had for a long time. Similarly, breakfasts were excellent. On one morning I did not fancy a full English breakfast, so I asked for a bacon sandwich. It was delicious! Don’t expect ‘glitz’ because it’s not that sort of place. But for comfort and good food this place ticks all the boxes - Thank you!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Grange Hotel. Taz and Jane were phenomenal hosts and nothing was too much trouble - Taz even acted as taxi driver when we got in a pickle! Our room was quaint and comfortable and the vegetarian breakfast was delicious with plenty of choice. Overall a brilliant stay - thank you both!!

Impressive looking hotel did not disappoint when as soon as we crossed the threshold we were made to feel at home. Nice room with a comfortable bed made for a good nights sleep after a dinner that included a gigantic portion of delicious fish and chips. A sumptuous breakfast in the morning included sausages on the side for the dog and was much appreciated. Hats off to Lucas and Jane who looked after us and we will look no further that The Grange next time we are in that part of the world.

A wonderful welcoming hotel with a friendly atmosphere. A sprawling old house with lots of history. Our family room was large, spacious and comfortable, the beds and pillows were so clean and comfy, the spacious en suite with bath and shower was great for the children. We had a walk in wardrobe, perfect. The food was wholesome and delicious. The breakfast had so many choices of cooked breakfasts and fresh fruits, cereals and lots of honeys to choose from. The hosts are kind and generous, who go beyond hospitality. We absolutely loved this place, We recently stayed in a 4 star hotel but The Grange Hotel was a hundred times better. Highly recommended and great if love your pets as pets are welcome too. Definitely be back, loved this special place.
