Stayed 1 night very comfortable Bed Very clean room nice to have coffee and tea facilities nice and quiet would defiantly stay again Nice local hotel in town square so easy to walk into town centre and good value for money
Needed an overnight stay in central King’s Lynn and this hotel provided a reasonably priced triple room for a Saturday night. First stay at a Wetherspoons hotel and I have to say I was impressed. Location was first rate and we parked for free opposite as the parking limits did not cover overnight or Sunday. The reception was separate from the pub, with a connecting door unlocked with the room keycard. The receptionist was polite and helpful, explaining everything to us and giving directions to the room. The room was spacious, clean and well equipped with a huge en-suite (with bath). There was tea/coffee facilities with biscuits. There was a hair dryer, fan, TV, free wifi and comfortable Sealy beds. With a busy Wetherspoons downstairs and town centre location I thought it would be noisy, but no. We had a very comfortable night and would definitely use them again.…
Booked the last room available for a two night stay which was a twin. Very comfortable overlooking the market place on the second floor. Mirror and electrical sockets perfectly placed and plenty of room in the ensuite to put your things. Ensuite had a bath with shower over. Staff very welcoming and friendly. Parked in the long stay just up Ferry St which has some parking on the road before the main car park. Very convenient and reasonably priced. Current redecoration works did not affect our stay. Had breakfasts and one lunch in the pub and food was good. Easily could stay there again.
Situated on the market Square. A traditional hotel with modern amenities. The room was compact and finished to a high standard. The bath room was also compact with a bath and a very good shower (a must for me), bed comfortable suitable for one person . Staff very friendly and helpful. Room quite and warm. Adequate parking in the Square pay and display.
We stayed here after travelling to visit Thursford. We arrived around 6.30 in the evening and parked opposite in the market square car park, I’d already got the MiPermit app for payment and paid up til 2pm the following day which cost £6.90. The entrance to the hotel is on the side of the building which was covered in scaffolding but we were pre warned and didn’t bother us as we we’re only staying one night. Very polite young lady checked us in and gave us our rooms keys and explained it was a 24hr reception. We used the lift, our room was on floor one and our family on floor two, we eventually found our room after lots of twists and turns, on opening our door we were greeted with a wonderful spacious room with everything we needed and more, yes the bed was a little harder than expected but nothing we couldn’t put up with. We headed down to eat, the receptionist rang through to make sure there were some tables so we swiped our room card and we were now in the main pub, it was really busy but it was a Saturday night, we enjoyed a good meal and a good few drinks and decided to call it a night as we were now probably some of the oldest people in the pub! I’m a light sleeper anyway and never sleep particularly well but to have a drunk person hammering on our door at 3.20am was not what we were expecting! We could hear someone escorting them back to their room I expect. We enjoyed a nice breakfast the following morning, but only one coffee machine working and it wasn’t long before a long queue formed. We did enjoy our stay and wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again 😁…
