Been staying here for over 25 years as well, the food in the bar and restaurant was always excellent and varied, with fresh dishes on every night. Menu now exactly the same every day with one special on the board. We did request crab salad which was very good but vastly overpriced compared with the pub in Port Isaac. Management...

The wife and I had two very enjoyable nights at the Port Gaverne Hotel. A warm welcoming place with great staff. Great bar and good food; the room we had was very nice and the bed was comfortable. We brought our three dogs and nothing was too much trouble. The hotel is set in a wonderful position and there are...

Had a couple of meals here on our last visit to Cornwall and enjoyed our visits very much. In a beautiful location at the bottom of a steep hill leading down from Port Isaac. Food, beer and service all good and they were also very welcoming of our dogs.

Stayed here for a birthday treat, interesting place with a strong nautical theme, nice rooms, friendly staff and dog friendly. They have a great selection of drinks and although we didn't eat here, the food did look good, and we'll certainly try it another time. Price wise I thought £140 was a bit steep for an en suite room in...

Stayed here for one night as a birthday treat for my other half. Absolutely stunning setting just yards from a small unspoilt cove. Very quaint pub with flagstone floors and roaring log fire. Obviously we have chosen the right time of year, no parking problems and the place wasn't rammed with customers. Our room was spotlessly clean with large en...

For the bar girl on the lunch time shift: please make yourself aware of the rules and regulations of Alcohol sales. You lost yourselves a 4 person restaurant bill. We left as my sister who is 24 was embarrassed to be refused service, even though we were with my parents, as she forgot her ID. This is not illegal like...
