Sorry but this was a bad experience. Room was extremely small, had to walk sideways to get round. Bathroom not clean & had to sit sideways on toilet to use.
The food was average, I chose fish pie, but it didn't taste much of fish....More
Stayed here a couple of times now. The rooms are small but this place was built in the 16th century so what do you expect. The sloping floors and furniture out of vertical alignment make the experience. All the staff are very welcoming and homely.

Had a meal on Sunday evening. Scampi, chips and tartar sauce £10.50, Scampi was tasteless, overcooked, the inside looked like flakes of white, I doubt it was even scampi. I did not eat the tartar sauce, it did not taste right, slightly pink in colour....More
Rooms were modern clean but very small with a lot of furniture crammed in making luggage hard to fit in room. breakfast was good and parking free on premises, was OK for one night. Did not see in newer wing of hotel but would ask...More
