Ate lunch here today with my husband, teenage twin sons and my mother in law. Lovely pub with delicious,well cooked food. All of us enjoyed our meals. Great table service. Would definitely eat here again
Really feels like a take over. Some dogs were like miniature ponies today. People were tripping over leads, bulldogs slobbering on the floor. I had to step over a Labrador to get to the bar and the owner never flinched!
We have had another brilliant Sunday Lunch (which you need to book because it is so popular) and enjoyed a weekday lunch. Again the food was of a very high standard. Looking forward to another visit in September.

What a find, 14th century inn with superb quality food and drink at good reasonable prices. The steak pie was simply the best ever. Great staff, the waitress even kept our food hot when I had to put more money on the car park meter.
