Hard to believe that a place in the middle of no where was sooo busy for dinner! But I after we went and try it definitely not surprised anymore! I absolutely loved the place, the vibe, the food (excellent) and the service super efficient and friendly! Mention when is your birthday and they will treat you a few little cakes....

I couldn't really fault lunch for three at The Pig. The location, although off the beaten track, is beautiful and so rural. The food was delicious and the menu offers a delightful and exciting choice for large or small appetites. Well prepared and wello presented with well-trained and courteous staff who seemed to know just what they are dong. So...

We have just had a truly amazing Sunday lunch, with all "the trimmings!".. Having stayed many times at the hotel, whilst managed by the previous owners, we were interested to see how the new management had taken the business forwards... ....and taken it forwards they have in buckets. There is an air of expensive informality, which can only be achieved...

You can't fail to be impressed by the drive up to the main house. A beautiful crunchy gravel drive leads you past fields of pheasants and grazing Arabian horses from the next door stud farm. Our room (18) had doors directly onto the garden and converted folly and was extremely convenient for us as we were staying with a very...

My son took me to the Pig as a treat for my birthday in March. The setting is stunning and you really do feel a bit special as you roll up the gravel drive. I was impressed by the somewhat vintage yet quirky style of decor as well as the retained period features, and hoped that the food was going...

My wife and I stayed here for 1 night at Easter. We both loved it. The staff were amazing. The room was gorgeous. The food was exceptional. And the hotel is beautiful. There is nothing not to love about The Pig.

Hunters (the brand) boots available in all sizes, staff wearing pink shirts (and converse) and beautiful food which, when it comes down to it doesn't taste as much as it looks.. We were given the most wonderful room, and it truly was like a dream both soaking in the hot Aston Matthews bath and going to sleep on the most...

Last evening we had dinner at The Pig to celebrate my sister's 60th birthday. It was a wonderful experience. The venue is beautiful, a charismatic and well maintained old building set amongst the nature of East Devon, which is an equal to anywhere on the planet. We particularly loved the wonderful balance that has been achieved between luxury and simplicity,...

Have now visited The Pig at Combe several times, both for light lunches in 'The Folly' and garden, and also in the restaurant. In good weather the Folly is a great venue for a really tasty light lunch - e.g. Flatbreads, and this is our preferred venue as it provides the great service and superb ambience of The Pig at...
